Autumn Haiku by George

Giant trees make a

beautiful elegant arch

right in front of me.

Fiery coloured leaves cover

the path like a quilt for  bed.

He takes a leap of faith.

Conkers are his treasure

They lie in wait to be opened.

When the ground strikes hard.

Naked trees blush red,

as the breeze cools them down fast,

bonfires crack and burn.
