Late for school

Miles raced into the clean classroom and knocked down a pile of boring books straight to the floor. He ran faster then lightning to his desk

“Sorry I’m late. I broke my alarm when I was cleaning it”

Mr Sir looked at Miles with a mean stare.
”PICK THOSE BOOKS UP”

As Miles was picking the books up, Owen laughed at him, as if he’d told the most funniest joke. Gwen stared at them both with disappointment.
