Maya’s story part 2

The ship was battered beyond repair, with its dragon leather balloon torn and engine destroyed. Maya was shocked about her surroundings (no man’s land). Sharp tall rock formations stuck out of foggy barren landscape. A slither of the usually bright moon struck the rocks making the spiky field of rock formations visible. The wind weaved through the needles creating an eerie low howl. The mist concealed the rocky wasteland, forbidding any exploration.  

The captain used a special glove to make a fireball to light a previously lit fire unveiling a trashed camp full of wrecked tents. But the crew wasn’t alone. Two glowing red eyes were glaring at them…
