I Want To Paint…

I want to paint

a city covered in freezing snow as cold as the South Pole,

a determined girl bouncing on a trampoline doing flips as high as a plane in the sky,

a moon-lit, starry night looking over a camp-site with red fire flames.

I want to paint

ripe raspberries waiting to be eaten,

a dog sleeping soundly in the sunlight,

an artist using acrylic paints to create a picture that will be sold for £10,000.

I want to paint the taste of hot chocolate on a freezing winter’s day while I sit on my bed.

I want to paint a golden, shiny crown that has been worn by the Queen, as valuable as a 3 million pound bracelet.

I want to paint the end of this poem.
