Jeff the Swampnicorn [by Ruben Anderson]

Jeff is very hard to see as he has camouflage and lives in the Everglades. If threatened, Jeff will use his special mud [which can turn you into a splotch of  mud. He is 12 years old and 1.5m tall. Also, he is very fun and loves to play basketball especially with his friend  Charlie [the thunder dragon]. He loves to collect mud and grass and puts them on display in his underground house. His favourite book and movie is Shrek [well because Shrek has a swamp like him and because he loves donkeys ].

Amazingly, Jeff has the amazing camo colour but sadly, it is very hard to see this amazing creature as he matches his surroundings. He has a mud brown horn [used for defence] and muddy, brown hooves. He has a dark green mane and a dark green tail that he swishes in the breeze. 

As I said  in his appearance  he is hard to see as he matches his surroundings. It is believed, that he can change to any colour [like a chameleon] and that camo is just his original colour.

Jeff is an omnivore [like me and you] which means he eats both plants and meat]. His most favourite food is alligator eggs. He gets these by spying on alligators then when they leave the nest he quickly snatches the eggs and gobbles them up. His most favourite drink is the mucky swamp water.

Jeff’s prey is baby alligators, muskrats, bugs, insects, strangely called, big-nose aliens and much more small animals. In addition big spike tigers, the last sabre tooth tigers left on Earth, Florida lions and massive lava dragons find swampnicorns as their prey. It is thought, that after dark evil fire unicorns wake up and eat other unicorns.
