The Emporium Of The Unknown

The Emporium of Unknown

Prologue:

There are many people who believe that magic only exists in the wonders of story books, but count them wrong because there’s a secret hiding in your city, right now. The Emporium of the Unknown, is the magic show.

Rearranging during the day, to intrigue the customers, our shop gets better by every sun set. Not asking for money, but asking for imagination. We create objects and fantastic moving toys. That’s what the Emporium runs on, the imagination of people. Then, there was tragedy the enemy strolled in.

Years after, on a dull day, a lonely boy turned up, his heart broken after something terrible had happened and that’s a life threatening experience. But when he walked in, through the heavy oak door, it all changed.

Another World.

Rain was lashing down into my face, my eyes watering as I pushed on. In the distance, sheltered from the rain, I saw a big heavy oak-wood door. Open. Reaching for the metal handle, I rush in; not noticing the sign on the door, saying closed.

“How can this be true?” I whisper to my self as I look upwards. I saw World War planes circling above my head, the Spitfires surprising the Misha Smits. A few minutes later, I found a massive model train set, filling up the whole room with an electrical buzzing noise.

Venturing into the unknown, through a red curtain, I spotted a golden stand shaped like an eagle. On top, rested a book its title saying, The Book Of…
A voice interrupted as a man stepped through from shadows.
“I see you have found my book, Freddie.”
