Missing Max

Finally, they were ready to leave. Unfortunately, it was one humid and balmy day, when the young macaw heroines-who had not yet earned their title-received word that Max, their vulnerable older brother, had gone missing. That evening, they became restless and paranoid; they were thinking about of all the ways he could have gone missing on his trip to Animalcadia Port. When Belle and Ben, the younger twin siblings of Max, decided to search for him (without consulting their parents) they packed their bags, left a note and left determined to find him.

A whole week, their treacherous journey would take to fly to Parrot mania -the neighbors of blue macaw land and close to Animalcadia’s port -but at least they would be safe. The parrots were fairly friendly and their uncle was head of the flock. If Max had been using his head, then he would have stopped before crossing the river.

Ben and Belle knew they had to keep moving carrying their grandfather’s beloved compass. It took them on an old route used many years ago-probably to avoid the beasts of the knight. The twins quickly grew tired and decide to stop for the night they found a tall, welcoming willow trees surrounded by beautiful moonlit lilies elegantly gliding on the crystal-clear stream gently rushing over pebbles and decided to make a nest and catch some critters.

In the morning, the tired birds struggled onwards hoping it wouldn’t all be in vain, that they would find Max. The sun beat down hard making the trip much harder than it should have been They didn’t stop until Max cried,” Stop!”.
