THE SOLDIER AND THE MONSTER BY WILL

THE SOLDIER AND THE MONSTER:

On the way home I met a man called Soldier.

His long gone voice echoed silently through the air,

His forgotten rags swooped in the wind like a balloon drifting up into the dark sky,

He was a dark hearted man who’s skin was faded from top to bottom in brown shrivelled muck,

And his eyes as dark as the moon as they peered over the dark prison wall.

I met a monster called Rot.

He was a beastly animal with teeth like a bone jagged out of his

ruby red mouth,

His scales were layered across his army green skin sparkling in the midday sun,

His horrifying eyes stared through the zoo sending screams  throughout the area,

His roar was deadly scaring children of all ages nothing could get past him,  he was most certainly a beast.
