Cinderella’s dress

Cinderella’s Dress

What are Calm?

A relaxing sleep before a crammed day in Paris, a sensitive stroll at Paddington station and a deserted house.

What are unsettled?

Cinderella’s dress being torn by the evil step sister, someone’s heart broken by a loved one, a minute before a play and you haven’t practised your lines.

What are adventurous?

An explorer bashing through the trees of the amazon rainforest, a little girl at a new school not knowing or noticing anyone and tiptoeing on an unknown planet all by yourself.

What are Memorable?

Your first ever trip to Scotland, the feeling of having the most beautiful dream or a family game of croquet at your grandad’s 60th birthday party.

What are pretty?

The Queen’s ball gown at a royal ball and a girl’s bridesmaids dress at her aunt’s wedding.

What are found?

A girl reunited with her family after a year, a bird protecting itself from a meat-eating bird or a new school girl making friends for the first time.

  1. What a super title Poppy, you hooked my interest immediately. I especially like your memories verse.

  2. Hi Poppy, I think your poem is very creative, I really liked the sentence “What are pretty?

The Queen’s ball gown at a royal ball and a girl’s bridesmaids dress at her aunt’s wedding.”
