The Ship of Moonlight Eloise SWW

The Ship of Moonlight

On the Ship of Moonlight,
A ball of glittering light cast its spell on the sea,
Like a lighthouse in the midnight sky,
The deafening silence of the sea,
Haunted sailors under the stars.

On the Ship of Moonlight,
The eyes of the portholes gazed out,
Wishing on the beaming stars,
Dreaming of what dawn holds.

On the Ship of Moonlight,
Darkness became a shadow,
As light became the centre of attention.

Cracking good writing again! I am really proud of your work. I loved the porthole eyes and the deafening silence – I get that sometimes in the dead of the night when my ears are searching for a sound – my head fills the void.

This is amazing vocabulary and description! I am looking forward to looking at your new post! When you said on the ship of moonlight there was a glittering light, you could change it to another word for light like illumination or something like that.

  4. Thank you Mrs Mcalmont.
