Go and open the magical door
Go and open the crimson door,
love drips through the air, crying its eyes,
as a vampire dies in the sun.
The lipstick lies in its draw as comfortable as a pillow.
Go and open the seaweed door,
maybe you’ll see slimy snakes slithering like a snail,
an emerald shining brightly in the sun,
or a cactus waiting to jump onto someone and sting them.
Go and open the lapis door,
maybe you’ll see depressing diamonds sad,
ice as cold as a snowflake,
or waves washing the people away.
Go and open the scarlet door,
maybe you’ll see rage rumbling through the midnight streets,
blood seeping out of your skin slowly,
or a ruby shimmering on the dance floor.
