If I were summoned

to create a wonder,

I would take:

the awareness of a night owl,

the madness of the everlasting thunder,

and the brightness of the last golden star,

the shimmer of the glistening sea,

the power of the crashing waves,

and the treasure hiding in the sunken ships,

the rabbits coming out of the magician’s hat,

the secret spells from the wizard’s book,

and the magic that is held in the whispering wind.
