Chapter 2- A warning disobeyed By Rosie SWW
“I am Chelsea Miler and I run the Amethyst Emporium. I have only ever seen people walk through my shop before so I’m simply delighted!” commented the owner joyfully.
“What do you mean walk through this shop and why are so angry about me looking at your book of Amethyst Amazement” replied Emma, looking in confusion at Chelsea.
“I don’t know why. You are free to look around my Emporium but you must not touch my book of Amethyst Amazement” she explained, staring lifelessly at Emma.
With that, Chelsea stormed off through a magenta curtain at the back of the shop and away into the corridor. Emma peeked behind the curtain and the coast was clear. She turned her head and her eyes were drawn to the book of Amethyst Amazement. It looked magical. She had to open it. Why couldn’t she open the wonderous book? It inevitably wasn’t that dangerous!
She opened the book of Amethyst Amazement and saw magic. Inside she saw fiery water, an upside-down house and a flying tree. An urge struck me and I began to search for a pen.
Without thinking, Emma lifted the book, searched for a pen and began to draw. She drew a small village with the town attraction a food factory. Emma looked at what she had drawn. She was awestruck at her skills.
Emma closed the book and headed through the magenta velvet curtain. A train was coming and Emma leapt out of the way before it ran her over. It stopped and she climbed on. Milliseconds later, the train was moving and fast. It stopped at a freshly painted door with a surprisingly rusted handle attached. She stood in front of the door and saw a banner connected to the ceiling. “Open it Emma” she read from the banner and did just that.
She stepped through the door and found herself not in a room but in a small village. She recognised it, but she didn’t know where from. she kept exploring and her mind reflected. It was identical to the village she had drawn in Chelsea’s book!
