Chapter 4-

Adam was tapping impatiently on the window thinking whether to leave the Emporium. Disappointed, he thought that he won’t be able to come back in because he already came back. The owner was sometimes strict if someone went out and came back in. Adam was in the room he made called the room of secrets. Slyly, he decided it was time to leave because the owner saw him peeking through a hole. He didn’t like what the owner was doing. Slowly, the owner got up from his seat. Adam gulped. He didn’t know what to do at this point. So, he thought of running. Desperately, Adam ran through the forest but he didn’t know where he was going. He saw: monkeys climbing trees; spiders crawling:  snakes slithering. Slowly, Adam made his decision and went back to the emporium.  Annoyed, he thought he was going straight but he was going in circles.

Two days after, Adam decided to go back to the Emporium. Disappointed, he had nowhere to go but the Emporium. Relieved, he met the owner again. The owner asked why Adam had left the Emporium. Adam did not answer – he was thinking of a solution to talk back to the owner. Disinterested, the owner did not care and went back to his office. Adam peeked through the unclean mouldy door. Adam saw that the owner had created another room whilst he was gone.
