The great wasp poem
Wasp
There on the fabulously, gorgeous rose, the wasp shall stand.
Minuscule hairs all over their body like a wooly hat.
With eyes reflecting the sun’s rays like an extraordinary mirror.
Rapid-Flyer
Nectar-Devourer
Wings beating as fast as a helicopter.
Mandibles chopping up prey like a blade through vines.
Antennae like extended noses in front of them.
Honey-sucker
Deathly-stinger
Stinger like a poisonous blade from its own backside.
Legs dangling out like a tarantula as it gracefully lands;
back onto the fabulously, gorgeous rose, while standing looking into the distance while full of pride.
