Its extended fingers leading to tallons like a butcher’s-knife.
Waiting joyfully to dig them into the side of a tree and start climbing.

Fluffy, feather, fur warming it in winter,
Adorable white patches as white as snow.
It’s tough tail waving in the wind like a friend waving goodbye.

Body-warmer.
Winter-heater.

It’s disgusting, yellow, vile teeth chomping on its lunch.
Its pink tongue slurping water like a straw.

Nut-chomper.
Nut-hunter.

Its light nose leading down to black like day changing to night.
