Charlie, who was a fifteen-year-old student, arrived at the forest (Woodway); it had been a hard, strenuous journey. Placing his bike on a nearby tree, Charlie saw three things: the waves crashing relentlessly against the rough rock; a daunting figure walking in the depths of the forest and the ice-cold rain hitting the windows of a neglected log cabin.
