Autumn

The wind in branches
The leaves crisp brown all piled up
The trees stripped of leaves
The bushes were swaying gently
Woolly scarfs wrapped up
The leaves crunching gently

springtime

Dogs dance,

sparrows sing,

chicks cheep.

lambs leap,

blossom blooms,

joeys jump.

poppies pop-up,

snowdrops shimmer,

daffodils dart from the ground.

bluebells burst-up,

trees creak,

buds form.

guess my season

Ice sparkles in the moonlight,

skies get dark and gloomy,

stars glisten and shine,

smells of ginger bread,

and carols sing,

delicate snowflakes drift,

smoke twirls from tall chimmenys,

fairy lights flicker on piney trees,

blankets of snow covers the trees,

cold, bitter dawn air bites,

crunchy snow freezes your feet,

a white storm kidnapps street.

winter time

Breeze howls across the air,

frost crunches along the ice,

Robins tweet in the arctic snow.

frosty streets shimmer with ice,

Crystal patterns on the window,

Ice jingles with bitter wind.

Slippery ice on my feet,

Children play in the snow,

Snow sinks as you trudge.

Hedgehogs hibernate ,

Rabbits bounce,

Snow falls from the air.

Times of the year.

Bells ring,

Elf’s dance as snow falls,

They all prance,

Swimming in a lagoon,

Sand between my toes,

All like a dream.

Crunchy leaves under my feet,

All painted red, yellow and green,

Dancing in the wind on a glorious day,

Lambs leap,

Bees buzz,

Flowers grow out of buds.

Seasons poems

Summer

Bright happy faces,

bright sunlight dazzle every where,

sand beneath my feet.

Winter

Christmas diners,

white snow falls everywhere,

making snowmen.

We can smell flowers,

baby animals are born,

blossom falls.

Autumn

Crunchy leaves all around,

bomb fires  everywhere,

smoke all around me.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter

Pistachio lawns,

marvellous tulips,

cherry blossom fills the air

Ice cream surrounds us,

the sea is the place to be,

it’s so boiling hot

Sweet, roasted chestnuts,

so much jumping and crunching,

acorns on the floor

The snow drifts on slow,

carol singers ring doorbells,

shops bustling and full
