What are? poem

What are hot? Burning sun, a Volcano and sizzling bacon.

What are forgotten? Bad memories, a lost toy and missing socks.

What are happy? Cheerful children, smiles on Christmas day and waking up on the day of a birthday.

What are remembered enjoyible moments, going on a holiday and fun presents.

What are scary? Mysterious noises at night, creepy crawlies and abounded places.

Question Poem

What are loud ? The baby’s cry,  children shouting why and the thoughts inside my head.

What are bright ? The sunlight that lights the whole world , fire burning a  house and the potential inside me.

What are soft ? A  homeless girl’s soft voice , when mum is very calm and the soft sadness inside me.

What are silent ? A class full of hardworking students ,an abandoned fairground and the silence inside me.

What are large ? A house with a mouse ,a T-Rex that stomps around the whole city and a blue whale swimming across me.

What are small ? A ladybug that walks on the leaf ,a feather falling from the sky and the tiny germs inside me .

My poem

What are weak?  Someone’s last word when they are about to die.

What are strong? A body builder and an African elephant in the Sahara Desert.

What are cold? A fragile  penguins soft skin and a cool breeze in the winter’s snow

What are hot? A ignited  fire in someone’s house and the sun melting down on you.

What are soft? A lovable  puppy’s neck and a pulpy cushion with fur covered around it.

What are rough? A blood curdling alligator scaly back and a jaggy coconut.

What are scary? A black widow  spider crawling on your bed and being in a confined space.

What are gleeful? An award going to you for doing very well in class and graduating and getting a job.

What are lonely? A  when they lose their only friend and an isolated human when being in lockdown.

What are angry? A venomous snake when it does not get its prey and the bristle face once you lose a chance of winning money.

What are refreshing? A cool drink after being in a sauna with 50 degrees. heat and an invigorated gust of wind when a train goes swiping past you.

Question poem

What is cold? A snowflake fluttering from the sky and ice-cream

What is warm? A croissant strait from the oven and the pot’s hot steam

What is loud? A sibling war, a battle cry and a wailing child

What is loud? A classroom of chaos, a teenage party and colourful fireworks

What is silent? A mother gardening, an author writing and a child reading

What is beautiful? A flower swaying, a supermodel and a bride at her wedding

What is big? An elephant’s trunk, the mansion of my dreams and my mum’s collection of makeup

What is small? The sound of a mouse’s squeak, a bracelet bead and a pup

What are…?

Question Poem

What are heavy? A blue whale swimming through the ocean and a ravenous dinosaur, ready to eat.

What are small? Tiny particles and dust drifting in the fresh breeze, a naturally patterned pebble getting thrown into the sea and glass bottles getting smashed into smithereens.

What are cold? A ferocious villain with a dull heart and the freezing Antarctic that will slowly make you die of cold.

What are hot? Laying on the beach looking at the sun, a person so furious that they turn as red as a tomato and going snorkelling with massive tribes.

What are bright? The sun rising from the pink rimmed horizon and the sun beams, blinding your eyes.

What are deep? The glimmering ocean under the sun, a gloomy cave that seems endless and the underground coal mines.

My Thoughts And Things

What are loud? A concert full of fans cheering , yours heart beating fast and a wave of an ocean

What is cold? Elsa’s cold icy heart , a packet of frozen rice and bright white snow

What is bright? A rookie with a bright future and a campfire

What is boring? You cleaning your bedroom , reading a book your not enjoying and watching a brick

What is annoying? Someone uses you and never comes back , a pigeon pooping on your shoe and giving half sentences to your teacher

What is rude? A dog barking at you for no reason , a person knowing you don’t like what they talk about and someone eating your food

Question Poem

What are cold?A bully’s heart,a turned shoulder and a ghosted message.

What are warm?A comforting hug from a friend,a person’s love and the summer Sun caressing your skin.

What are dull?A numb face,a dismal sky ready for a storm and a cup of plain water.

What are shiny?Glistening eyes when a person looks at a newborn,a holographic sheet catching a glow

 and a ruby’s edges,reflecting light.

What are loud?A puppy’s whimper,a politician’s speech and Earth’s cry for help.

What are quiet?A kitten’s purr,a phone on silent and a friend’s smile.

What are heavy?A broken heart, worries and guilt.

What are light?A sheet of  paper,a pencil and a rubber.
