Slushtree

Slushtree’s wave in the howling wind,

as blue sherbet sprinkles off.

Their roots Like string

dig into soft soil,

that is the colour of melted chocolate.

Brown branches stretch out,

land grasp onto nearby trees,

as snow falls from the sky.

Small twigs thin as a pencil,

snapping off trees,

falling to the ground that’s as hard as a big, black boulder.

Fresh, green leaves with small, white piles of snow on top,

sit high up in Slushtree.
