guess my season

smell of  cinnamon

roaming around

the cottage

kids knock on doors

in chilly weather

dressed up

carving pumpkins

awaking the dead

having sweets

look out the window

see people jump

that one person just under a sheet

it may be risky

to awaken the dead

but we said mwahaha.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter

Pistachio lawns,

marvellous tulips,

cherry blossom fills the air

Ice cream surrounds us,

the sea is the place to be,

it’s so boiling hot

Sweet, roasted chestnuts,

so much jumping and crunching,

acorns on the floor

The snow drifts on slow,

carol singers ring doorbells,

shops bustling and full

Seasons poems

Summer

Bright happy faces,

bright sunlight dazzle every where,

sand beneath my feet.

Winter

Christmas diners,

white snow falls everywhere,

making snowmen.

We can smell flowers,

baby animals are born,

blossom falls.

Autumn

Crunchy leaves all around,

bomb fires  everywhere,

smoke all around me.

By Abigail Yr 6

Times of the year.

Bells ring,

Elf’s dance as snow falls,

They all prance,

Swimming in a lagoon,

Sand between my toes,

All like a dream.

Crunchy leaves under my feet,

All painted red, yellow and green,

Dancing in the wind on a glorious day,

Lambs leap,

Bees buzz,

Flowers grow out of buds.

winter time

Breeze howls across the air,

frost crunches along the ice,

Robins tweet in the arctic snow.

frosty streets shimmer with ice,

Crystal patterns on the window,

Ice jingles with bitter wind.

Slippery ice on my feet,

Children play in the snow,

Snow sinks as you trudge.

Hedgehogs hibernate ,

Rabbits bounce,

Snow falls from the air.

guess my season

Ice sparkles in the moonlight,

skies get dark and gloomy,

stars glisten and shine,

smells of ginger bread,

and carols sing,

delicate snowflakes drift,

smoke twirls from tall chimmenys,

fairy lights flicker on piney trees,

blankets of snow covers the trees,

cold, bitter dawn air bites,

crunchy snow freezes your feet,

a white storm kidnapps street.

springtime

Dogs dance,

sparrows sing,

chicks cheep.

lambs leap,

blossom blooms,

joeys jump.

poppies pop-up,

snowdrops shimmer,

daffodils dart from the ground.

bluebells burst-up,

trees creak,

buds form.

Autemn

rustling of the autumn leaves ,

swishing and swashing of the trees,

lovely hot choclate resting on my knee,

children playing having fun,

red and orange leaves banging on my window,

The Beautiful Waterfall

The diamond waterfall rockets into the the sapphire broad:

Devil sharks as small as rats scamper like there trying too find something valuable.

The setting sun shining through the golden, crispy, autumn leaves:

Looked lovely on the hard, wooden, sturdy trees.

Rushing, loud, powerful water attacked the soaked rocks:

The hardened boulders stood still as they eroded away.

The sea bed was an explosion of sand as the waterfall jutted into the lagoon:

The coral waved around as the vicious current pushed through.
