Feeling like he would never get through his journey, he carefully crawled through the last couple of metres of the forest to stay aware of predators. He walked out into the fiery sun’s rays and saw a lake in front of him.Pasco had no choice but to go through the lake.If he had gone around, the Gorm could have caught him. He found a rickety old boat with a paddle. Unconvinced he would make it, he reluctantly took the offer and sat in it. A loud moan was given from the boat. Pasco himself was aware of what lurked in the lake (beasts and monsters). With a sigh he started paddling and hoping that he would make it.As quietly and quickly as he could, he went to the other end.Pasco had nearly made it when a loud growl was given, the monster was behind him.Feeling like he could scream, he calmly went through the last couple of metres. The monster had retreated when Pasco had made it off the boat.
Pasco had sat down for a bit on a rock nearby to calm down and stop shaking violently. His food supply was slowly starting to run out.He stood up again and threw himself forward knowing that he had to keep moving.Pasco walked very fast since he was a rabbit but every step was a pain in his heart for leaving his mother and home behind.
