chapter 2

He glared into Ayans eyes and stated, “My name is Cyrus.” Ayan experienced discomfort and dizziness. “You are welcome to look around but please don’t touch the book,” Cyrus added as he moved forward. “The object I value most is this book.”

Cyrus vanished in a split second. Despite his advice, Ayan drew in the book. He noticed the reason it was under his best care when he peered inside. He beheld magnificent wonders floating on clouds, including villages and cities. Technological futuristic towns with neon-like illumination. The best scenario is a planet built entirely of food. This book was incredible.

Ayan then located a pen and began to sketch. He sketched a little gooey glob that he called “Bob.” And while it wasn’t the best sketch, he believed it would still work.

The owner’s bird cried out,  “Come this way.” After giving it some thought, Ayan replied, “Okay, I’ll Come.” He then sprinted after the rainbow bird until they reached a room. The frame was slimy and green throughout. It was there when he opened the door. He sketched his tiny green blob in the book. He observed it moving back and forth as if it were on a trampoline. There was a tiny, brown hut in the back. It must have got confused with another hazy drawing. Ayan rushed into the tiny cottage.

As he peered inside, his heart raced. It had the appearance of a damaged cottage from the outside, but a huge mansion from the inside. It had: two enormous stories with two kitchens on each story; a 100-inch flat-screen TV with additional surround-sound speakers; a super-comfy sofa in every room and golden railings on the balconies.

A little while later he heard a thumping noise, sounding like the blob but bigger. He took a look outside and faced upwards. There it was -a giant. The silhouette it created was huge. It had eaten everything in the portal that Ayan made. It looked like: a huge jelly on a trampoline; a mountain of gooeyness and the greenest thing on the planet. It was more green than the fresh grass! Not knowing what to do, Ayan ran into the abyss of the portal with no idea of where to go he got lost in the nothingness of the magic. Then he heard it. The blob blabbered, “Come back.”
