Jeffery didn’t want to leave home. He looked out the window.He missed his house, his room, everything.He got to his new parent’s house he went up to see his room it smelled weird.The room that I slept in was Mrs Hill son’s who’s in the war and if someone said anything about her son she would just ignore them and walk away.             

The first day of school went slow.The teacher was nice, he was called Mr Bob after school he realised Jeffery needed to practise writing so the next day Mr Bob helped Jeffery with his writing.The week flew by. Joseph began to get used to his new home. Most of the days he would spend it at school.Mrs hill keeps fruits and vegetables in her garden. Sometimes when Jeffery’s hungry I get them and eat them.     

Last night,Jeffery looked outside his bedroom window. He saw a lantern bright up and realised it was Mrs Hill. She went into the forest.Jeffery couldn’t wait to see what was down there.One night Mrs Hill asked Jeffery to follow her into the forest.The sun shined Mrs Hill went into the forest he quickly ran up thinking he would get lost.

She then stops by this big container.He  went a bit closer to see if something was inside of it. It smelled awful. It smelt like rotten fish.Mrs Hill then started to open “You might want to step back.”Inside the container had a creature with black eyes. It started growling. ”Meet Aqua, my pet Wolf. I found him lost in the mountains.” Jeffery gasped in disbelief.

Aqua stared at Jeffery.His black, deadly eyes stared into his soul. He stood paralyzed with fear.His fur was as black as coal like the night skyAqua stared at Jeffery.His black, deadly eyes stared into his soul. “He likes you,”whispered Mrs Hill.The Wolf then disappeared back into the container.On their way back the moon shone down on the path.“He’ll be watching wherever you go.”said Mrs Hill mysteriously. “I found him lost in the mountains inside a cave his parents must have abandoned him so I took him and fed him he’s not been here for that long and yet he’s grown so big.”Jeffery looked at Mrs Hill fascinated.”Remember Jeffery this is our secret don’t tell anyone or they’ll take him.”Jeffery then nodded.

That night Joseph imagined Aqua walking through the forest hunting for food.When he licked his hand it felt like he was trying to tell her something.Jeffery then got up and set Rabbit traps for Aqua to eat.He would eat Hares, frogs or rabbits.WHen he woke he would see what he’d trapped and feed it to Aqua.The first time Aqua wouldn’t Aqua stared at Jeffery.His black, deadly eyes stared into his soul.  The summer flew by.Every day Jeffery wandered around the field realizing how it looked like his old home.At his home the field was the same except the plants were dying.The blue bluebells were scattered around the field. The tree’s branches were swinging as the wind snapped it off, the scolding Sun shining bright.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

At night Jeffery went into the woods where he played with Aqua.Sometimes they just sat                                    down gazing at the stars, or sat there doing nothing.Every time Aqua heard a noise he                               would go hide and stare out seeing who it was, realizing it was Jeffery with his food.The                                                  thing that Jeffery was scared of is someone came and saw Aqua.In the daytime Aqua                                       would go and hide then Jeffery would leave the food there.Then at night Aqua would                                               sleep in the biggest bushes he could find. At night Aqua wandered of into the forest                                                hiding in the bushes.                                                                                                                                                  

One day, Jeffery’s friend from school came to his house. He lived a few houses                                                            away.While they were playing games Jeffery’s friend Todd was where Aqua hides. Todd                                    then started screaming. Joseph rushed to see what happened.”Jeffery.”Said Todd                                           frightened. Todd saw Aqua “Don’t move, stay still.” He then calmed Aqua down by giving him food to give Todd enough time to run. Jeffery’s heart was thudding. What should I do next? thought Jeffery. The secret had been kept for so long now it’s gone, everyone will know about it.Jeffery and Mrs Hill thought all night about what to do.”We should take him to a new village, he’ll be safe there.”
