Your Tear

I’d like you to imagine a crystal clear tear-drop of emotion running down a sweet baby’s face drip! drop! drip!

I’d like you to grab your tear in your hands and cherish it for what it is – a tiny soul or a river of emotion a wish made by a broken heart.

I’d like you to title this tear-drop your tear-drop.

Now please fill out this survey:

Does your tear do gymnastics?
Is you tear a celebrity ?
Does your tear go to school?
Has your tear been on TV?
Did your tear fly or even levitate?
Did your tear swim?
What magical powers does your tear have?
Can your tear get injured?
Has your tear danced?
Is your tear a surfer, perhaps Olympian?
Will your tear sneeze?
Can your tear dream?

A simple request

A simple request

The red-feathered kite gliding in the wind
Or the soft shining sand of mousehole beach
Or the delicious flaky Cornish pasty calling out to you.

It could be an abandoned spiders web catching dew drops on a winter’s morning
Or waking up as the sun shines through the heavy fog
Or a black crow singing its song of sorrow.

Just notice
the rainbows after the rain
the tiny wishes among the stars made by broken hearts
as mother nature continues to gift.

Hidden nature

On Monday, I walked to the old forgotten tree trunk solemnly laying on the muddy forest floor, waiting to be noticed, as silent as a mouse.

On Tuesday, I heard silent swishing of a million beech trees gently dancing in the breeze like no one was watching -swish!

On Wednesday, I noticed a wise old owl perched in the oak tree, watching over the forest like he owned it .

On Thursday, I discovered a huge vast stream, gushing and flowing with algae-covered stepping stones fighting for their life against the rough rapids.

On Friday, I dreamed of a tiny elegant fairy flying around the bushes, gently picking fruit, disappearing as quick as a flash when a woodland creature comes.

On Saturday, I touched the magic wishing tree and patiently wait for my wildest wish to come true.

On Sunday, I watched a shrew-hunter swoop high in the sky watching and waiting for its next victim.

Barry stared at the burger. Outside the clear window, a new wind swept across the island town. Cars purred by and on the promenade, old papers tumbled along, driven by the wind. The sea rolled up the white, sandy, warm beach, crashing against pink granite rocks that fringed the darkening shoreline.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you on the upcoming events on the local calendar. There are some very exciting things that you may like to come to.

First, there will be a procession through the town, consisting of a wide variety of contributions. Anyone involved must take good care not to get in the way of the crowds or there will be some annoyance. The Mayor will judge the best baby competition. While that is going on, you might want to indulge at one of our many local food establishments.

After that, there will be a dance display in the town square. If you are watching, please stand back so you don’t get in the way. The market will be open all afternoon.

Finally, the firework display will be held in Prince’s Park at 6 sharp. We hope you have a lovely time.

Yours,

Billy Bob Karmer

As I walked into the haunted costal cave, I saw: an abandoned apple-coloured apron; a pair of worn shoes and a cobweb-ridden box. I heard a hollow howl; the eerie noise was coming from upstairs. As I came outside, it was now pouring with rain and pitch black, I saw it. The thing lurched towards me, and just as its teeth reached my skin, I knew that he had lied.

“ Always and forever. “ Those snarling words still still stick in my mind, sixty years later. They told me that it would go, years-end. As if. So as I slump into the corner of the cave once again, I recall the words they told me, recall that I’m never going lucky enough to be rescued from this place again…

In the early evening, the dragon landed at the barrow-parking lot. He crawled sneakily towards the famous Ye Olde School and poised its fire carefully at the Latin Lodge.

At noon, the car accelerated at the junction, drove around the corner hastily and suddenly paused at a large, important-looking tower block.

In the early hours of dawn, the starship hovered over the alien space shuttle, aimed its laser beams hastily and fired at the engine.

Before it was snowing, I played my trombone.

When there was a snake there, I played my music very loudly.

Since it was silent , i bought a gas mask.

Before it was scary , I fed the shark.

As the snow fell, Tom waited quietly. He was in her cold, dark flat. Suddenly, the phone rang! He picked it up, hand shaking. He listened to what his boss wanted to do next. He paced across the room. Reluctantly, he picked up Shellie’s suitcase. He opened the door, sighing, before taking his first step outside as a fugitive…

When nobody was there, I fed my pet shark.
