Alexa’s Amazing Adventure

Alexa had been adventurous since the day she was born and her mother had always warned her that one day she would get into big, big trouble. One frosty Friday, Alexa was strolling through Windsor road and carried on walking like everything was normal, but something caught her eye. The old Emporium’s door was somehow open so she pulled it gently so it didn’t break. She tip-toed curiously inside…  

 

Everywhere she glared, it was full of ancient things. She s aw a feather flying in the air, an elephant’s trunk sitting there and a mysterious bookshelf with all the books splattered on the wooden floor. 3 monarch butterflies wandering around, the cadmium bamboo and a lion head on the brick wall. Many amazing Autumn leaves were stuck on cob webs which were all over the place. On one closed counter there sat a dusty display of  fossils, a paycheck and a little golden chain.But what interested Alexa most was an amazing book. As she turned the pages everything started to move… 

“ I see you’ve found my book of stars,” hissed a voice. Alexa’s heart stopped for a minute, she quickly closed the book and stared at the owner. He was an aged man whose eyes were like the sky…
