Outside, Inside

Outside the window, the rain fell across the glass. Inside, a light shone and it was full of joy.

Outside the school gate, the sun beamed on the car windows. Inside, the clouds stared at the blind.

To the right, cars speedily went past. To the left, cars carefully drove away.

In front of me, books fall. Far away from me, books stand still.

Inside, the light shines bright. Behind me, the storm.

Roderick

As soon as mean faced Rodrick strode into the room, the light immediately turned to dark. He was thin with no hair and a dark soul like a shark. “Shut up!”shouted Rodrick, “I’m not going to be laughed at.”

Barasingha Manor by Amari @Belmont

Ebony tiptoed towards to the shabby door. She reached for the door  and pulled it open gently. She stared wide eyed into Barasingha Manor. Above the stairs, a picture of a little girl was covered in dust. On the dusty sofa, a Tom Cat slept. Under the gloomy light, on a table, Ebony saw a open purse, that shone in the moonlight.

What you are! By Amari @Belmont

You are a Monday morning waiting for the school gates to open wide.
You are a shining star in the sky starting to cry at sun rise.
You are the crooked handle bars on a bike with popping tyres.
You are a book waiting to be opened .
You are a cracked China cup crying for help.
You are the smell of pink candy floss floating across the summer sky.
You are the sadness of a storm banging on the red tiled roof.
You are a fairground with the loud music spinning around my head.
You are memories of a child falling over, hurt and crying.

You are the end.
