lightning unicorn

Throughout the world,  there are many different species of unicorn, one of which is the Lightning unicorn. It does many different tricks in the air while flying, like backflips and spinning in the air like a ballerina. The Lightning unicorn can be found around the Antarctic during the summer, preferring the cold weather. There, it catches fish with its horn through the ice.

The Lightning unicorn also lives in the rainforest (during the winter) where it likes to wander between the trees. Everytime it tries to fly, it gets tangled in the green vines that go from tree to tree. Lightning unicorn’s hooves are so big that they can knock over all plants, including cheese plants over, trotting over them as they walk by. Also, it uses the kapok tree for its shelter,  just in case it rains. The bold colours in its tail are amazing, black and white – the colour of lighting and storms. It has lightning patterns on its back, it has many lightning bolts all going down. It has a black and white mane and its hooves are made out of tough steel, which helps it to flatten the plants to make a pathway.

Back in 1899 was the last sighting of the Lightning unicorn. Many people have been  searching for this magnificent specimen ever since. But beware, if you do witness the Lightning unicorn do not look it in the eye because you will make a disaster.

Adventure1

Characters: Pop, Pip, Popsicle

Finally, they were ready to set on their journey

That afternoon they got a message from their friend saying to be careful as the Gorm is only a couple of miles away from the Deepwater warren. No one could be safe at this moment. The warren walls were built many winters days ago and were now very brittle and would barely stand up to a battle against the Gorm.

And so it was that the three little rabbits Pop, Pip and  Popsicle left their cosy home and started their journey through the enormous bare caves and onward to safety at Waterloo River. As they were walking through the caves, they  heard many weird noises like scratches and screeches that even the Gorm would not like. This made them feel scared, nervous and slightly terrified. However, they decided to stay strong and continue on. Other rabbits had decided to make their way to the graveyard area to find a pathway to safety. However, Pip’s father had told him not to do this as it could be very dangerous. So, the three rabbits agreed to head for Waterloo River.

Pop, Pip and Popsicle struggled across the river as it was extremely deep and the water ran fast causing them to pop up and down. Eventually.they washed up onto the other side of the river and shook themselves dry and continued towards the Violent Hills, where they would experience erupting volcanoes and tumbling rocks. As they got there, they could hear the enormous  Gorm stomping loudly from somewhere behind the volcanoes. Jumping up the hills, they tried to find a safe place to relax until the Gorm passed by. Popsicle held on tightly to Pop’s back as they went up.

That evening, as sun was slowly going down as slow as a snail they were struggling to find out what they were having for their supper so they all decided that they wanted to have turnip soup so they made it before little Popsicle fell asleep they enjoyed their soup

and they all go to sleep so they can get energy for the morning to set of to the Waterloo River.

Pop found that he couldn’t get any sleep. His mind was like a whirlpool worrying about the Gorm and where he is. Would they ever make it to the Waterloo River?

i want to paint

I want to paint-

the strong sturdy ground made of coarse concrete, perfect for skateboarding,

soft green grass under my feet feels like a new piece of carpet, comforting and cosy,

the tall trees swaying beside me as I go down the ramps,

the scary steep ramps are made out of tough timber,

and sharp parts of metal on the grind bar.

I want to paint-

the bright blue sky as the birds fly like mini jets,

the sound of fluttering big blue  butterflies in the air with a breeze pushing them to the side,

the big green, tall trees are big as giants legs,

the big green, emerald bushes with lots of different animals,

and white, fluffy clouds big as a football pitch in the blue, turquoise sky,

I want to paint my mum’s perfume going up my nose as I play basketball,

I want to paint the smell of freshly cut grass as I cut it,

I want to paint the smell of freshly baked bread up my nose as I walk down the high street,

I want to paint the fresh smell of my dinner what is being made,

I want to paint the sun as it slowly goes down slower than a snail.

I want to paint the end of this poem.
