Cornwall

You are the tall cliffs trying to get to the sky just out of reach.

You are the dark sky lit up by the glowing stars.

You are the cold fresh air escaping from the rough seas.

You are the warm sun shining on our cold Cornwall.

You are the milky white snow glistening in the sun.

You are my Cornwall.

I have never felt the presence of a spirit

I have never felt the presence of a spirit,

But I have communicated with one before.

I have never encountered a killer bear in the forest,

But I have watched bears devour animals in movies.

I have never found a temple of doom,

But I have heard what happens to people who find them.

I have never found a lost king in Egypt,

But I have seen a mummified frog at school.

I have never seen a ghost in my life,

But I have been on a terrifying roller coaster.
