A frenzy of colours.

 

I wore a lush green mask, breathing in the fields while drinking from a fresh lime.

I wore a yellow mask, sniffing the buttery scent of the buttercups watching the sun shine in the sky.

I wore a white mask, drinking the creamy white of the coconut as the waiter added more sugar to the white tea.

Yellow mask

I wore a yellow mask and saw the beautiful sun shimmering ,a faded yellow sun ray reflecting of the water’s surface, one buttercup lonely in a field and a golden strip upon the sky.

Theatre

I would take the sound of popcorn popping in the theatre,

I would take the taste of popcorn melting in my mouth,

I would take the touch of the velvet seats,

I would take the scent of different perfumes rubbing off each other and,

I would take the sight of the gigantic curtain ready to be pulled back.

Colours of poems,

Sky full of clouds,

land full of flowers,

mind full of worries,

heart full of wishes,

river full of ripples,

Bank full of rocks,

Thoughts full of drain,

Songs full of love,

Earth full of resources,

Ocean full of fishes,

Days full of sunshine,

Nights full of stars,

Papers full of poems,
