An overpowering gust of air cleared away the large mountains of dust at the mouth of the cave enabling me to see inside. Frozen like a statue, a giant dragon was stationed at the back of the treasure-filled cave. Slowly, the dragon stretched out its crooked, skeletal wings as gold coins tumbled down the giant pile the monster was perched on. Its amber eyes flashed in my direction piercing me to the very core of my soul. With a deafening screech the dragon let out a blazing blue fire which lit the whole cave. Hurriedly, the dragon cracked its whip-like tail sending dust cascading down mountains of gold towards me. As the creature opened its steely jaws I caught a glimpse of its terrifying dagger-like teeth. Razor sharp talons scraped against cold stone walls sending vibrations through my body. Flaming red scales trickled down the beast’s wrinkled chest causing it to glow in the darkness of the creature’s lair.
The Dragon
The dragon arose from his deep slumber with gold and diamonds surrounding his coal black, red striped skin. It had teeth that melted through flesh and bone, like scorching hot tar. Its back hunched, with titan sized thorns, filled with a type of poison that will kill any living organism in under a second. Skin so flaming hot if you touch it, you have eternal pain.
Long live the dragon
The dragon stood still and silent,
He gradually raised his ancient blood red wings,
As he steadily crept forwards,
and stared into the never ending abyss.
His curled claws dug into the core of the earth,
the spikes on his back were poised to attack.
His eyes were as dark and smooth as obsidian,
Reflecting the moonlight.
His tail was flicking angrily left and right,
The dragon’s bone white teeth sparkled in the darkness,
As he smirked at everyone he saw.
Every dragon has
Fiercely posing under the twilight stars,
Lurking in the darkest shadows,
Soaking up the suns embers,
Dragons come in every way.
They have eyes that shine green with envy,
Two black slits for pupils,
Horns that curve like crescent moons,
With piercing ends to pierce its prey.
They have thorn like claws,
To dig into ones heart,
Teeth that are stacked in sharp jagged rows,
With a foul stench coming of them.
They have a leather like skin- black as can be,
Smooth and tough and very rough,
Breath that fires the land all around,
A flaming arrow that burns in the sky.
Every dragon is its own with its own ways,
It may fly in the night or sleep in the breeze,
Or eat until death or play with their tails,
Or fight till the end or flame the earth.
