Tittle: Podkin One-ear
Chapter 4
We started to run because we knew our house was no longer safe for us to stay in. We walked about 100 Miles just to get to this “safe place”. After miles and miles of walking we came across this really strange bridge that seemed to be never ending.
We decided to cross it, as the curiosity was too much. We found quite a few things in the way, an old 2009 watch, a hat and the strangest thing of all, a pair of really old, broken glasses. Suddenly we noticed something, something slimy, something suspicious. It was a frog. It was trying to say something, as if danger was close.
Soon after we just ignored it and carried on. Paz said, “isn’t this wonderful? The view is spectacular!” Paz continued looking amazed as if she’s never seen anything like this before. Well four rabbits it’s quite often that rabbits see such a view, she was probably just trying to lighten up the mood. Which if it was it was clearly not.
We could finally see the end of this bridge. We were all jumping up and down with excitement. We saw Lilly pads and wonderful things. Until Paz slipped. She fell and broke the bridge. Thankfully she was able to hold herself, hanging off a quite stable piece of what was left of the bridge. She fell. But me, pook and pipkin heard a strange noise like a cartoony absorbing sound. She was still here at least but down almost in the lake. We looked down and saw Paz with a strange portal.
She entered the portal with no hesitation.
She said, “Come with me, you will be thanking me later!” So we did and jumped off the bridge. We too landed in the portal. “Woah!” Exclaimed pook with an amazed look on his face.
We landed in a home with a gate we’ve never seen before. “This will be our new home.” Explained Paz. “Were you planning this whole time?” I asked. “Yes, well except the part with the Minotaur.” She said cheerfully. We were finally home. Safe and sound though far away from mum and aunt.
