A Marvelous month

Colourful fireworks

Children stay up late

Pop the fireworks go.

Crispy leaves crack like biscuit

Leaves fall from trees

Crunch the leaves go under my feet.

Cutting pumpkin pie

Scrumptious Halloween sweets

Children dressing up.

Conkers bursting opened

Conkers as brown as chocolate

Green, spiky shells crack.

Bonfires crackle

Laughter fills the dense moist air

Roasted marshmallows.

Nightmare

Outside, lightening struck all around, striking cars and sizzling trees. Inside, light stood still surrounding the isolated chest. Joan Codwell rapped around her big warm coat. Frostbitten fingers struggling to get warm…

Seasons

Waves dance in the wind.

Cherry trees ready to be picked.

Ice cream ready to melt.

Leaves fall of trees.

And children go back to school

Children get sweets.

Haikus poem

Wet snow falls swiftly,

Bare branches twitch in the wind,

Christmas crackers crack.

Waves crash against shore,

Beautiful butterflies glide

Blossom falls like dust.

Sand glows like magic

The scent of sun cream  lingers

flowers bloom slowly

Crispy leaves crunch

Pumpkins light up the night

Rain pours down like a waterfall

Christmas lights light up the sky

Roast dinner can be smelt

Presents are under the tree

Skeleton Leaf

The rotting dinosaur bones faded away into minute flakes
In the misty darkness
They lay quietly on the floor
Like chocolate flakes on an ice cream
The glistening bones shone in the sparkling moonlight
Like a rainbow
The leaf is slimy like a snakeskin in a frozen rainforest
The leaf’s veins longingly reach out to the end of the delicate hallway

The Bicycle

The bike  that was in the trash for days and it is not to be made again.

The bike that has never been used before.

The bike that diednte even ride.

The bike that dusant want to go enywere .

The bike theate didant do anything.

The Old Bike

The lonely, rusty bike has not been

ridden for a long time.

The enchanted bell with terrific memories

dings like a musical instrument.

The filthy saddle needs someone to take

care of it and wash it.

The wheels wish it could spin

more often like a fidget spinner.

The abandoned bike leans gloomily against

the fence.

When you look at the wheels it takes me back

to amazing times with my bike.

Riding with my cousins, riding to the mead,

reminds me of France and family.

The elephant

Elephant

The gigantic elephant

roaming the African savannah,

Its trunk like a fountain keeping you cool,

Its eyes as small as stars,

The ears as big as a  beach ball,

Its tail waved side to side

Its tusks as sharp as a dagger.
