Evacuee letter

Dear Mum,

Thank you for my sausage and egg sandwich. I found it in the bag I had on the train when I was looking for my sketchpad. I made a new friend – Amie – and she was really nice! When I found the sandwich, I split it with her because the train food was awful, and I think we’d rather eat your delicious sandwich than what they served us.

When we finally got to Little Weirwold, the train station was bustling with other kids who’d also been evacuated to the countryside. Me and Amie were SO lucky to be in the same billeting group. A kind-looking woman with a bouncy collie dog came up to me and greeted me. Sadly, me and Amie parted ways.

The woman I’m staying with, Miss Honey, is super kind. I have a whole room to myself in the attic. And guess what? It’s a farm. I get to look after Sammy (the collie dog) and feed these fluffy animals called sheep. There are also these black and white animals called cows, but I can’t do anything with them yet: Miss Honey says I need to learn more about them first. The food she made me is nice – but it’s not as good as yours.

After a few days, I started going to school. I was super happy because it turns out that me and Amie go to the same school! It’s really fun with her there, and we chat about our family and draw. She even taught me how to play hopscotch and other games.

I’m having so much fun, but still wish you were here to do it all with me.

Nature’s Creatures

The dragon’s scales are

As thick as the castle’s impenetrable walls

Like an invincible monster.

The ghastly ship creaks

As it carves through the eerie fog.

Whispers haunt the deck.

If you stop and listen

You can hear the sobbing of the shadows.

The black crystals chime,

As they dangle from the swaying sails.

Steers the helm.

As soon as Miss Belshire entered class seven with her lovely soothing smile, the faces of the children immediately seemed to light up with passion. She had a comforting gaze. Her voice was rather like a cute kitten’s purr.

“Good morning class,” she warmly greeted them. “I hope you all have a great day with me.”

What happens when the world is asleep

On Monday, the moon looked like it made its own eclipse as it cut through the misty sky.

On Tuesday, I sat on a bench to watch a diamond like shooting star that lit up the sky like a crystal ball.

On Wednesday, the empty roads lay leaving the rustiling leaves across the silent paths.

On Thursday, planets  orbited around the slowly moving sun like the earth rotating.

On Friday, tree sillohettes stood in their positions as the strong wind.

On Saturday, I watched as the yellow windows turned black as the sun was eclipsed by the darkness.

On Sunday, I dreamed of what would of happened tonight if I stood near the street light.

Prologue

 

Have you ever herd of a starship? Well read on and you shall find out.

You’ve probably been on an aircraft with the puffy, candy -like clouds and the soft summer breeze combing through your hair. But have you ever been on elements ship where your breath will surely be taken away.

I bet you’ve enjoyed holiday flights across the sandy bay, journeys to explore another part of the planet and knowing that once you have landed you will be able to get pleasure from cold, tasty ice cream and a relaxing stay.

But you should also try a trip where the howling wind is wild, the thunder explodes like a bomb and the water floods the land.

 

Chapter 1

In a distant land, on a far away planet, there lived four adventures. But these are no ordinary people, these are people made entirely from elements there were Rocky who was in charge of making tasty snacks for the crew, Mellow was in charge of blowing along the ship wave was the navigator and but the most important person was spark. Spark had the job of powering the ship by making the hot air balloon rise. The four friends set off on their journey with hope that they could successfully fly around their country then come back. The stunning ship had a huge hot air balloon on top and a ship below the ship was a bit like a hotel because it had a restaurant, rooms, and a pool! Suddenly Wave screamed “we’ve hit a cliff prepare to land!”
