What are frail?

A china plate, and a glistening gold teacup.

What are strong?

White bones and teeth and a sharks jaw.

What are heavy?

An iron anvil in a workshop , and a hammer falling on your toe.

What are light?

A piece of paper as plain as can be and a book you’ve just read.

What are cold? 

A strawberry ice cream out of the freezer and a freezing cold pool on a

Summers day.

What are hot? 

The great fire of London and campfires in the wild.

I have never cooked with Gordon Ramsay, 

But I have cooked hot dogs with my dad.

I have never eaten mushrooms on a plate,

But I have eaten brussel sprouts at Fisher’s Farm. 

I have never seen a pheasant in a field,

But I have seen a baby chicken in a coop.

I have never touched a lion in Africa,

But I have stoked a wooly white wolf in the forest.

I want to paint a parrot peeping through the treetops like a secret spy, 

I want to paint a whale watching the winter cold sea, 

I want to paint a llama laying in the cool shadows of the sunset,

I want to paint cold breath in the morning air, icy like an iceberg, 

I want to paint the sound of a horse galloping in the canyon,

I want to paint a the smell of strawberries in the Summer sun, 

I want to paint the roar of an Egyption battle as one of the fighters gets thrown out of the ring,

I want to paint a lion laying in the leaves on the land,

I want to paint the classroom filled with the chattering of  children,

I want to paint my teacher teaching the class.
