What is….

What is loud?

An elephant running through a forest at full speed and a TV at full volume with rock music on.

What is squishy?

A rotten strawberry after it’s been out of the fridge for a day and a banana after it’s gone brown.

 What is small?

A teardrop rolling down your face in despair and a whisker from a mouse.

What is big?

Mount Everest when it’s covered in snow and an elephant at its biggest form.

What is quiet?

A mouse eating a piece of cheese and a child whispering through a lesson.

What is hard?

A big rock of chalk on a concrete path and a big rock of flint on a hard ground floor.

What is spooky?

At 3 am and you hear footsteps on October 31st but in your attic and sounding like they’re getting closer and closer and being all alone in a dark alleyway.

Never have I ever.

I have never climbed mount Everest

but I have climbed castle hill.

I have never seen a bear

but I have seen a muntjac deer run away from a loin.

I have never been to war

but I have played combat paintball and got shot in the hand.

I have never seen a lion eating

but I have seen my bearded dragon await his prey.

I have never seen a dragon

but I have seen my cat fly across the room.

I have never seen a eagle

but I have seen a crow in the dark under a street lamp.
