Weird but wonderful things

I wore the green mask and tasted

The juice off a crunchy grape,

The apple shampoo which dripped off my hair,

The fresh nature off the bush.

I wore the blue mask and heard

Birds flying in the summer sky,

The waves of the shimmering ocean,

The sound of the blue raspberry slush machine.

I wore the pink mask and saw

Pink paint waiting to go onto the wall,

Strawberry yogurt glaring at the spoon,

A pig covered in thick, brown mud.

I wore the red mask and touched

The tiny seeds off the round raspberry,

Soft, red roses freshly picked,

A crunchy, chocolate glazed strawberry.

I wore the gold mask and smelt

Shimmering gold locked in the safe,

Gold paint in a clear pot,

A crown with five emeralds.

Rainbow mask

I wore the fiery red mask and saw,

A field full of roses;

A fire blazing in the fireplace,

And a tomato resting on a plate,

I wore the orange mask and smelt,

Orange juice in a cup,

Zest from an orange,

And orange peels in a bowl,

I wore the yellow mask and tasted,

A banana smoothie in a fancy glass,

A pineapple without the skin,

And a lemon tingling my tongue,

I wore the green mask and touched,

Wet grass in a field,

Green beans on a green plate,

And an emerald shining in a cave,

I wore the blue mask and heard,

The waves of the ocean crashing against the rocks,

A blue butterfly flapping its wings,

And a blue whale swimming in the sea,
