Don’t look down

I was having an awesome dream, I had just figured out how to time travel. When I suddenly awoke. I looked around at my surroundings and realised I was on the side of a cliff. I was petrified because I, Benjamin Mcblubber am afraid of heights. You might think that it’s normal but if I bounce to high on a trampoline I faint. I realised that I was a massive eagle and I was standing beside a nest. I really needed food and water but to get them I would need to fly and I was not capable of do that. Eventually I mustered the courage to fly and when I did it felt amazing as long as I didn’t look down.

I put on the mask of fire and saw scarlet flames towering above me, as I watched the city slowly burn down.

 

I wore the mask of sapphire blue and saw the waves crashing onto the golden sand and the sky filled with sugar.

 

I put on the frozen mask and I could taste the sweet hot chocolate melting out of my mouth and felt a tiny shiver down my spine.

 

I wore the mask of yellow and watched as the sun shone as bright as a diamond, the giraffes extending their necks to munch their tasty food.

I wore the pink mask and could taste the sweet cherry blossom candy floss. I saw tulips twinkling in the flaming hot sun.

I wore the green mask and I could taste the juicy sour grapes. I saw the shiny emerald in the distance.

I wore the scarlet mask and I tasted the blood of my worst enemy, I saw the dead poisonous roses in a strawberry garden.

Moments later,a massive egg appeared out of nowhere. Sophie whos long blonde hair covered her face as she  dashed towards the mystical egg then the egg cracked BANG! Nothing came out the egg but then Sophie looked behind her and she saw a massive monster she sprinted back to the ship where Olivia was. Sophie grabbed Olivia and hid in the bottom of the ship. Sophie said  “Olivia stay here while I go and figure out what this monster is and what’s happening” so Sophie ran off to figure out what was happening.Sophie found a sarp stick so she picked it up and she saw the monster about 10 steps away so she went closer and closer until she was face to face with the monster then…

The deadly dragon

The deadly dragon 

Its eye looks like the night sky 

among the twinkly stars.                                 

 

Its spines are

As sharp as fighting 

Knights swords. 

 

Its scary,smiley mouth

Looks like its ready 

for a photograph 

or to eat me. 

 

Its skin is

As rough as unused 

Sandpaper sitting in a cupboard.

 

Its stripes 

Are as dark as night 

Even when it’s in the sun.

 

Its creepy claws

Are going to rip

you to pieces 

if you touch him.

I have never…

I have never ridden a flying tortoise but I have flown in a plane to Turkey, where it was hot and sunny.

I have never seen a unicorn but I have had a pony ride at Pennywell Farm, on a brown , trotting pony.

I have never been a famous pop star but I have been an angel in my Nativity play at school.

I have never been a gymnast in the Olympics but I have taught myself to do an intricate, one handed cartwheel in my garden.

I have never been to America but I have been to hot and bright Gran Canaria.

I have never seen Sleeping Beauty but I have met beautiful Cinderella at Winter Wonderland.
