How to look after a baby unicorn                                                                                                                     

Have you just been given a baby unicorn to look after, and have no idea how to look after it. Fear not, just read these instructions and you will be able to have fun with your unicorn

What you will need

A blanket also a water bowl, grass and wheat and shade such as a den or a shed, lastly it will need company

First, build a place for your unicorn so that it can keep safe from predators and dry from weather. This unicorn will need a shaded place, for this elegant creature to trot around as this creature loves trotting around.

Next, buy a blanket but if you have one already then no need. Place it in the den or shed. Make sure there’s trees outside as it feels more like home because unicorns live in forests

Then, Make sure to give your unicorn company as this unicorn might fee down if you don’t. They love human contact. They are very curious

Also provide a water bowl, fill it with lukewarm water in a bowl. They will need food, such as, wheat and grass. This will result in a healthy unicorn.

After that, exercise you unicorn by playing fetch or letting it trot around your garden, but make sure no cats are near by or dogs as it could frighting the unicorn.

Later on, play with your unicorn with a ball or toys if you do not you might hear pines a lot.

Finally, pick up your unicorn and bring it to it blanket and set it down there, as baby unicorns need a lot of sleep as they will be grumpy the next morning and sleepy.

As Cherry convinces that we won’t hurt it, she steps back as we walk to her egg. “Cherry” I say in an low voice “Yea” she says in a soft tone.”I think we should leave” I say a little bit nervous. Cherry says alright while stroking the small shiny emerald egg. 

We turn around and head to the exit. The Panda Mander bowed down to thank us for not hurting her precious egg.”Maybe we will see you again” I say calmly.

I check my clock to see how late it was “oh my god it’s 5am!” I said. We were walking home and saw Sugar opening her crystal store and saw many more shops opening early this morning.

We couldn’t stop thinking about the Panda Manders safety and the egg, we stumbled tiredly to my room, and soon after fell asleep.

I woke up from cherry talking to herself, “sailers the egg they want the egg!?!?” she said scaredly. “What are you talking about?” I say yawning. I leaned over to her book about a mythic creature, and the name of it was the Pander Mander.

As I read the book intently worried it says “Keep the Panda Mander to yourself there are sailors who sail places to find those mythic eggs and Pander Manders, they kill these endangered animals”. My jaw dropped in terror.

Two days later and we are in my little room, thinking about the Pander Mander.  “Well, are we going to do something ?” I choked a little bit of tea out, I just looked at her blankly, then I walked to my window and glanced at the strange mist outside. “Matthew, are you listening!” she said stressed out “come on you must help me” she said. I sigh nervously then suddenly she said “I know where it lives”.

Cherry rushed out of the door a couple hours later she was back. Turns out she had seen suspicious footprints like the ones we found two days ago, but these are in a cave.

I decided to finally go on the journey with her. I pack some bread in my bag and my water bottle. “You should put on a coat as it’s freezing outside” she says calmly, as we walk outside I lock up the arcade, about fifteen minutes after walking and talking I ask her “how long will this take” I don’t know but she said it probably quite long” she said. As we were walking along the beach. She looks at all of the shops we passed trying to count how many there are.

Whilst we were walking on the beach Cherry said “Look right there” I looked at them shaken, “Let’s follow them” said Cherry.

The footprints lead us to a cave!. As we walk in, small drops of water fall on our heads “ew” 

Cherry said, annoyed just as I thought there was nothing there. We walked into a room this time there was a nest “what is that”?”  I think its just hay but as we walk closer to it we realise its an giant egg.

In that moment I feel a stab of fear. We should not be here. “Come on lets go!” just as we were about to leave we here an throaty growl… I take my flashlight and turn it on right there, blocking the exit was the Panda Mander. Cherry steps forwards I step back.

Hey my name is Matthew and I work at an arcade place near the seaside.  I’m one of the cashiers there. Most people call me Mat for short. I give out prizes to people who one a game. Someone had told me once that it must be a terrible job but honestly it’s not that bad, I have a room to stay, I have a rusty old little fire they gave me for winter, it’s very old but it works. In winter I have loads of customers but however in winter there’s barely anyone.

A girl taps on the window beside me and begs for me to let her in. I stare at her blankley and say “the arcade is closed”. She was shivering and looked cold. Reluctantly I let her in confused, she was so desperate to get inside, she sits on a box, as I turned the fire on she whispers in my ear “hide me”.

Before I continue with what happens next, there was a story about our town. This happened quite a long time ago and no one knows the date when it happened or anything. It was a legend of a monster that walks in the dark on foggy nights, some people say they’ve seen it, a woman described it as “A panda with very sharp” She called it the Panda Mander.  Some others say they’ve heard scratches on their walls.

People say that the creature is searching for a lost child who had wandered ashore, and  had never left the land. Some are concerned if the lost child is dead or still alive it’s still unknown right now.

“Why do you need to hide?” I say confused “what’s wrong”

“I’ve seen it” she cried, suddenly there was a sound “Bang bang” someone had banged on the door…

t doesn’t have to be the creamy, white deer spotted near Brandon park.

Or the Flint houses on the Gashouse Drove.

Or fresh market square ripe juicy fruits in the centre of Brandon.

It could be the glimmer of a crisp packet, left on the fallen spring leaves.

Or the mundane big lime green bushes, in the forests in Brandon.

Or the Lovely dawning sunrise.

Be as curious as a dandelion; 

whose seeds blow across the world.

Those endless blue skies in the sunny bright days.

Notice now how the days can be mundane and abnormal at times.

Chapter 3

Leaving the old home

Alright let’s leave said Pudkin, she replied alright safe trip, Pan packed the stuff into the bag Pudkin held Peek, suddenly Pudkin saw a silver crow and said run!, Pudkin was getting out of breathe the Gorm might come for us, Pudkin said we need to be safe and calm.

Pukin saw the Gorm, Pudkin whispered to Pan saying run! Suddenly the gorm started chasing them, Pudkin and pan scurry forwards, Peek starts to shiver

Suddenly Pan stumbled over, Pudkin quickly helped Pan, Pan twisted her ankle, she placed her paw on his shoulder. All of a sudden the Gorm in a flash disappeared Peek was scared. I think he’s gone said Pudkin nervously. Pudkin goes behind a giant rock and places her on a medium rock.

Just as they thought they were safe the Gorm appeared, he looked to have brown hair and skulls as accessories. He shot a dart at us it was a dart we fainted.

Pudkin yawned and woke up and Pan sneezed. Suddenly They heard the sound of iron scraping, its, the gorm! Said Pudkin. Pudkin quickly grabbed the half asleep Peek and Pan grabbed their stuff, which had barely any food in it.

15 minutes later after running through the tunnel, Peek yawned. Pudkin realised he forgot the torch! Pan calmly replied its alright we can use something else.

This is Forgotten Forest, Okay we need to see if there’s some sort of building. I see something said Pudkin holding Peek. I think it’s a building said Pan. They went to the door and knocked on it.

The door creaked open, it was an old lady she said in a crooked voie with her long nose, would you like some tea and warmth? Without hesitating Pan replied yes we would love to. She let us into her dirty, dusty home with pictures that looked like 1000s of years old. I will get you some tea. She went into the kitchen while Peek, Pan and  Pudkin were getting warmed by the warm fire. She came back with 2 cups of tea 5 minutes later. Pan whispered to Pudkin ew it looks vile.” Pudikin looked at it and agreed. I think we have some water in our bag.

He placed his mug and Pans on the table, Pan gave Peek a water and opened it for him and gave Pudkin one. The old lady came back and said in her slow voice voice did you not like the tea? Pudkin said yes we are sorry she walked back into the kitchen in disbelief. She grabbed a tin and handed it to us, birdy birdy said Peek the old lady saw it and didn’t flinch it was a silver bird she grabbed her gun and shot it, why did you shoot it said Pan because its a camera spy bird and they go back to the Gorms and tell them were you are. Chapter 1

The Hidden cave

Pudkin heard the sound of a letter that fell. He handed it to Pan because he couldn’t read well, it was a red envelope. They wondered if they should open it.Yes, Slowly opening the envelope it said that the the Gorm was in the warren with their father.. He might die! Aunty listened  to Pudkin read the letter, she grabbed their wrists and took them to the bedroom. They wondered where she was taking them,OUR FATHER IS GOING TO DIE! Aunty looked under Peek’s bed, there was a rusty looking piece of paper and something that looked like a dagger.

Aunty quickly went  down stairs and  two minutes later came back with a giant bag. She put the dagger and the rusty piece of paper in Pan’s hand which looked like a map to him.Aunty pulled a coat rack and they heard sounds of rocks, something slowly opened. It looked like  a cave! Aunty locked the door and gave Pudkin the bag of stuff, off you go said Aunty Pudkin and Pan sorrowfully walked into the cave, Peek didn’t want to go, Aunty picked him up and kissed his cheek.

And placed him in the cave, Peek cried while Pudkin was annoyed and angry and let us out “we need to save our dad”!. Pan sat down and curled in a ball sadly, THUD THUD up the stairs. “Bunnies bunnies where are you?” Pudkin stopped and whispered i think that’s the Gorm. Peek went silent. They heard the sound of Aunty screaming and whimpering. Is Aunty okay? said Peek yes she is said Pan wiping the tears off her face. Pudkin picked up Peek and cuddled him. They walked more into the cave, let’s look in the bag and said Pan  some food!. There’s a cupboard said Pudkin let’s look inside there’s some torches and matches, and PILLOWS! Shhh said Pan , we need to be quiet. Pan handed out some carrots.

After we ate them we placed some pillows on the ground Peek went to Pan and cuddled

When we see Aunty said peek, no one answered good night said Pudkin they all fell asleep apart from Pudkin, he sat down and 15 minutes later he fell asleep, are they safe?

Yesterday at 2:32pm Tom Barkley, Who lives in Brandon, spotted a forest Unicorn jumping over his garden fence, Tom, who lives in a Bungalow Quickly ran inside to get his phone, Then he heard whining from him and rushed outside to see the unicorn whining, Because she was stuck on a fence. Tom told the Inspectors of Unicorn.Sighting.com about this Creature that looked a lot like an Unicorn .”I helped this elegant creature have some water”, so far we cannot get this Unicorn’s leg out off the fence.
