Session 1 -Grammar

As soon as kind Mrs Honey skipped into class nine, the familiar room immediately appeared to have a grin burst across its face. She was caring with an encouraging smile. “Calmly sit down and read your books please” announced the new teacher, “i love how you all are very independent.”

The Secret Of Masks

The Deep Secret Of Masks

I put on the red mask and…

Saw a suspicious red rubber ducky staring me right in the centre of my eye. I saw the face of Pennywise deep in the sewer that dominated my hopes, dreams and nightmares. What was next to happen to me as i wear this mask.

I put on the black mask and…

Tasted a fermented duck egg causing my mouth to fight me to escape to its freedom.I tasted the dusty coal of the fire blocking my tube up with the burnt bits of a sausage in a catastrophe of BBQ party in the summer. I 100% want the other mask back even though it was torture.

I put on the blue mask and…

Felt blue magnetic sand squeezing through the gaps in between my fingers that took my life to paradise i thought. Little did i know, i felt the tingling legs of a turquoise spider travelling up my neck.The first bit was good but is there going to be a good mask coming up?

I put on the yellow mask and…

Heard the the theme tune of Spongebob Square Pants filling my ears with misery. At this point i had no choice but to go further into this mask adventure. I could hear lemon juice spitting into my ear and colliding with my poor eardrums that might need some checking. Come on masks!

I put on the green mask and…

Smelt a mint choc chip ice cream zooming up my nose actually giving me a sign of success. I came back home and my mum wasn’t happy. I was in my room for too long. Annoyingly i couldn’t tell her what i was experiencing or i wouldn’t live much longer. But the smell of that wild pesto was even better than chocolate. Now that is a statement and a half.This journey is an adventure to behold.

Part 2

“She likes you,” said Mrs Karen, as the great cat turned and disappeared into the bushes. Freddie looked up at her and could not help but smile. On their way back to the village, the night wind rustled the leaves in Spinney’s Acre as if the trees themselves were shivering. Moonlight illuminated the path ahead. Freddie sensed that they were being watched. He paused and peered back between the trees. For a second, he thought that he saw the fiery eyes of the great cat.

Part 2

That night Freddie dreamed of the great cat. As he woke up he saw two eyes staring at him in the gloomy dark forest. He was scared that it could be a big brown bear ready for its midnight feast. And then suddenly, it came charging at him it was only Ayla. But then they both heard a stick break SNAP. It was only a couple metres away again SNAP.It was time to run…

letter to mum

Dear mum, It was hard to wave goodbye to you when I was leaving to go to plymouth in the school bus, I was in there with a few of my mates which were Tristan, Tyler, Eathen and Reece. We were all evacuated into a house wich was a pub call the Indian inn wich was near Home park (plymouth argyle’s stadium.)          On a sunday morning we would all have to clean the glasse’s ready before the plymouth Argyle match so we can earn a few pennys.And then in the afternoon, we would serve so much beer to all the people ready to watch the mighty greens play there football match. In the evening we would have to get all the drunk people out of the pub wich was so hard it would atleast take us 45 minutes to get them out.Of course we never got to watch Plymouth argyle play a match but we’re saving up our pennys to wathch the Fa cup final to see them play against Manchester united one of the greatest teams of all time.I don’t mind my job but the worst thing is that Miss Karen is the manager of the pub and gives us £2.50p a month.

missing you so much and by the way is dad back Love from Freddie

my secret winter poem

I tell my secret? No indeed, not I;
Perhaps some day, who knows?
But not today; it froze, and blows and snows,
And you’re too curious: fie!
You want to hear it? well:
Only, my secret’s mine, and I won’t tell.
Or, after all, perhaps there’s none:
Suppose there is no secret after all,
But only just my fun.
Today’s a nipping day, a biting day;
In which one wants a shawl,
A veil, a cloak, and other wraps:
I cannot ope to everyone who taps,
And let the draughts come whistling through my hall;
Come bounding and surrounding me,
Come buffeting, astounding me,
Nipping and clipping through my wraps and all.
I wear my mask for warmth: who ever shows
His nose to Russian snows.
To be pecked at by every wind that blows?
You would not peck? I thank you for good will,
Believe, but leave the truth untested still.
