The Sky Diver is nearly dying out!!!

The fabled Sky diver -also known as Demon of the Dinosaurs- are running out – only the majority of 200 are living right now, at the Institute for Nearly Extinct Creatures, where they live in their swarm. These creatures resemble a frog’s body, a squirrel’s tail, and the head of a dinosaur. This creature has claws that can rip clothes, despite how fragile they look. Its tail is vital for balancing and it has stingers that create fatal damage to the prey. But not humans.

For over a decade, humans have been burning their habitats, nearly burning every tree to ash.

But, this is not the end. Many are hunted for the valuable poison that can also create rubies and sapphires, or other gems that are red and blue, the colour of their tails.

The Moon Striker

The Moon Stiker is a special endangered species  located  near the Arctic Circle, for instance, Scandinavia and Greenland. They are small creatures, the size of your little pinkie, but they are nearly extinct!  Yet, you can still spot one at the full moon, and rumour has it that if you hug a werewolf, you’ll turn into these magical creatures!

They have 4 wings that resemble a dragonfly’s and they have long, thin bodies covered in tiny patterns of blue and green, as if there were a million emeralds and sapphires embarked on it!  Also, they have 6 stick thin legs that are bent like an ordinary insect.They have big, black eyes and it has a 360 view, enabling it to see danger in all directions.

Yet, these tiny critters have an almost fatal toxic punch that can result in hard breathing and headaches that are incurable.So beware!

 Myrle Harthood was a very curious soul. She was a good natured girl and was very creative  but she was always full of questions. 

One day, though, on a fine spring day, Myrtle was  sitting near the banks of a brook, watching the water trickly over the small pebbles and she listened to the birds chirping their funny little songs. 

As she sat, admiring the beauty of nature, a loud CRASH suddenly met her ears. She whipped around. There, standing there was a shop with The Waterstones embarked on it. Myrtle stared at it with  burning curiosity. Without a second thought, she entered. Then, she saw a book with a label saying ‘DO NOT TOUCH’.

“Why though?” she wondered aloud.

“Don’t touch it.” a voice said sternly.

The path to last year,

In the path to last year, I would’ve taken:

The tear of a flaming phoenix, a grin without a cat,

The pink from a flamingo, the red from blood,

The stare of a deaf bat and a stir with a stick,

But now it’s too late…

In the path to next year, I would’ve taken:

The rough bark of an sycamore tree,

The leaves of a maple one.

And an intriguing fact.

But it is too early…

In the door of Red,

Maybe there’s a volcano full of molten lava,

Or roses growing,

Or  a chilli being bitten.

In the door of Jet black, 

Maybe you’ll see flying bats,

Or a fanged black widow spider.

In the door of Blue, 

Maybe there’s a sea of sapphires,

Or the winds of Neptune,

That swirl like hurricanes.

In the door of Pink,

Maybe,just maybe, there’s a slice of ham waiting to be eaten,

Or the faint pink in flamingoes.

In the door of White,

Maybe there’s swirling clouds,

Or a creamy swan, swimming in ponds.

In the door of Colours,

Maybe, there’s imagination,

Or your own dreams…
