Soaring with the skies

I would take a pair of charcoal black trousers which majestically sew themselves up if they get torn, scrambling up the rocky mountains.

I would take a decoding owl which could deliver and uncode secret messages.

I would take an extraordinary lunch-box which automatically refills itself to lift any daring explorer’s hunger.

I would take a tiger’s canine tooth which is capable of casting a fiery, orange glow to shield whoever holds it around their neck, from any harm.

I would take a treasure map which bursts into flames at the first sniff of an enemy but extinguishes itself when the danger has passed and seems to be untouched.

I would take a chisel in cast we got stranded in a snow storm in the Arctic and all the crew got buried.

I would take Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak for protection and to hide under if our ship was invaded.

I would take a frog with a tongue so long if we captured the enemy we could tie them at the top of the mast with it.

I am a brave, daring, adventurous, courageous explorer who has travelled across desserts and through the Arctic and I’m willing to go on this Sky-ship adventure and I’m sure are you too?

Is this who you are? Think about it carefully.

You are a loving Labrador nuzzling your shy, beige puppy who has curled up and fallen asleep beside you.

You are an obedient assistant to your mournful master who is getting sucked into the looming iron compressor.

You are a curious crab scuttling along the sea-bed, when you get trapped in a lobster pot.

You are a brave warrior fighting in the battle of Waterloo.

You are a lazy lion sun-bathing in the scorching Savannah heat.

You are an energetic kangaroo, powerfully jumping over a log with your joey in your pouch.

You are the impossibility of

a swing with no seat,
a unicycle with no tyre,
a water bottle with no lid,
a hot wind,
and a calm hurricane

You are the memory of a young child dropping their ice-cream on the sandy beach as they watch the sand viciously sucking up the delicious, creamy Mr Whippy, like a hoover, there’s a blur of a bird and a sea-gull snatches it up to devour for its self.

You are the smell of lab chemicals fighting your way up the junior scientists nostrils.

You are the impossibility of

smooth sand-paper,
an ink-less pen which still writes,
a money jar which shoots money back out
and a Crocodile which is scared of water

You are the impossibility of

silent thunder,
a pencil sharpener with no blade
and a teddy bear with no fur

You are the terrified squeak of a mouse with a cat pouncing on it’s tail.

You are the sound of glasses clinking together and a trickle of beer cascades down the side.

You are the Big Bang snatching up dinosaurs lives, greedily awaiting their end.

You are the beginning of the world.
