You are nature

You are a little green leaf,

sailing down the river like a little boat. You are a gushing river, with a nice, steady flow.

You are a pretty little flower, waving in the breeze as you grow taller and taller everyday. You are a full grown daffodil, standing steadily and proud.

You are a ripe and juicy apple, waiting patiently to fall out of your tree. You are a crisp apple, cut up in delicious fruit salad.

You are a small rock at the side of the river,

sleeping in your cosy river bed, skimming the water as you glide across the river.

You are a tiny little caterpillar,

eating a small leaf with much greed. You are a wonderful butterfly,

flying around, not a care in the world.

You are a big tree,

waving friendly to your neighbours. You are a tall, wonderful tree

sitting comfortably in a christmassy looking room.

You are the bitter wind of a winter storm, ready to attack. You are the calm relaxing breeze,  of a warm summer’s evening.

You are a pleasant pile of leaves, waiting to be pounced on by an innocent child. You are a small leaf, flying everywhere wanting to find a new tree.

Chapter 1

Chapter 1 Gracie

It was a cold winter’s evening, and frost fell from the trees smearing coldness over Yate. The very little street lights lead people home as they tried not to get lost in the gloom. Fog gripped to every wall, making it impossible for anyone to see anything.

Jasmine was walking down the street of Yate Leisure Centre when a mountain of frost, cold, snow hit her. The frost laid on the concrete digging through people’s shoes, making it nearly impossible to move. People’s legs nearly frost to a bone.

But Jasmine Frank couldn’t careless, she walked further and further into the abyss shoving her hands deep into her pockets. She walked past millions of people: holding their hoods with all their grip, a little girl wearing her father’s coat, and someone sat on the path waiting for warmth. But she couldn’t help them she had to get to her place. Finally, she arrived at the checkpoint.

She was terrified. If she didn’t end up getting in her whole family would be more than disappointed. Soldiers marched up to people one by one checking their checkpoint passes. Jasmine’s belly tightened as she watched people’s unhappy faces walk back. This meant the world to her. She had to get in.

“Hurry up!” said the soldier marching up to Jasmine. He held out a sweaty hand that looked like he had been doing this for century. He looked at the picture of Jasmine whilst looking her up and down.  “So why are you leaving your village?” said the soldier, wiping his nose with his hand.

“I am here to deliver a pair of shoes to Gloucestershire” said Jasmine crossing her fingers and hoping for the best.

“Hm,” said the soldier, “fine off you go!” the soldier said pushing her along.

With a sigh, Jasmine entered into the posh, smart street of Gloucestershire. She was shocked. She had never seen a place so clean. Here there was people in suits and fancy dresses. Jasmine was embarrassed, she was the only person there not wearing a dress or a suit. Whilst people looked her up and down, she carried on walking. It wasn’t a busy street, it was like nobody had even heard of it. But you know this place has to be posh when you have to do a fifty-minute test just to see if your posh enough to get in.

Jasmine started to stare at the enormous tall buildings that people lived in. She was felt like she was going to be blinded, there was white walls and yellow bright lights outside of every door like they are guarding The King’s Place.

Jasmine’s mind filled with rage. If only people like her got to live like this, no rats, horses as cars and clean houses. She would give her enemy all her money just to live this life. She squeezed the shoe box, making her hands red and sweaty. Sadly, she was only there to deliver a box of posh pink shoes. Jasmine felt someone kick the back of her legs. She turned around in shock struggling to stay on two feet. It was her old friend from years ago. She was powerless to save

herself from the hands that grabbed her hard and led her down a misty dark passageway.

“Let me have it,” a deep voice shouted at Jasmine, demanding the parcel out of her hands, “as well as everything in your pockets.” Jasmine tip toed backwards, looking back to see the perfect moment to escape. She ran as fast as she could, quicker than ever, so fast that sweat piled up in her t-shirt. But her and her parcel we trapped. Millions of soldiers greeted her at the door, guarding her escape.

She had to escape, she had no choice. Crouching, she barged through the ten men one by one trying to make an easy escape. The smell of the men standing there in a hot room was revolting, Jasmine thought holding her nose whilst crawling on the floor. She came out of the dark hot room and realized, she had escaped.

Chapter 4
Poppy dreamed, her mother was stood next to her in a forest. Surprised, she realized that her mum was trying to run away. Poppy followed. Her mum was hiding and sneaking across the forest trying not to be seen. But Poppy did not know why. The book was squished in a tree. She was hiding it. Poppy ran and ran to find her. A few minutes later, she found her. But she could not see her as clearly as she used to. She was gone.

Poppy awoke. It was the hottest day of the year. The sky shone throw her curtains. She ran to Noah’s room, who was fast asleep. Noah awoke.
“What were you doing last night it sounded like a hurricane in your room” said Noah tired. Poppy could remember her dream, but she didn’t think it was like a hurricane.
“Come on get up and get dressed we have to go somewhere get Buddy” Poppy said confidently

“Hey I hope you know I just woke up” said Noah yawning. Poppy looked at him mad. The room went silent.
“Hey I hope you know I need to go somewhere” said Poppy being cheeky. Poppy tugged him out of bed and pulled him down the stairs. They could see Buddy sat down on his bed. It was the darkest in the kitchen. But Poppy could not tell. She thrown some bread at Noah’s head. They she grabbed the lead, she put it on Buddy as quickly as possible. Quickly she tugged his arm over and over again, trying to get him out the door. “Right here we go”

Scattered, around the forest. Poppy remembered in her dream the book was in the tree. But which there was hundreds of them. But there was one blue tree one red tree and one orange tree. Them trees stood out a lot to them. It has to be in one of them. They ran over to them trees and looked. They first tried Poppy’s favourite which was the blue tree. There was nothing there. Next was the red tree. There was nothing not even a stick on there. They hoped that this would be the tree. They looked over, under and throw leaves. There it was it sat in the tree.

Suddenly, a familiar face peered out of the bushes he looked really familiar.” don’t mess with me” was the old villain.
“ahh” yelled Poppy.
“run” screamed Noah. They pulled and tugged Buddy to come with them to hide. Sadly, there was only the small colourful trees. They were trying to use there imagination and pretended there is a cave they can go and hide in. But there were no caves around here. A few minutes later, they heard the villain storming around in madness. They looked up and a big long tall tree.
“Lets climb it” said Poppy. They started to climb it without a choice. They might of been safe.

Hovering above them was an air ship.
“That looks like my mums air ship” said Poppy excited. Poppy wanted to go and save her mum. She promised them that it would be safe if they came. So on they all went. They was hundred’s of people sitting in there sits. It wad quite a way up. There was a lot of noise that Buddy hated but Poppy must find her mum. She was looking top to tail to try find her. She thought Buddy would know because he was with her at the time. He was the only one that might of survived. Then Poppy knew that was her mum.
“She was in the forest like my dream” Poppy said to herself.
“Mum mum over here come here” Poppy yelled.

They are rushed back down that air ship and did a massive hug. Poppy’s mum came up to her and Buddy and gave them a little kiss. They all had a massive group hug. “I missed you” barked Buddy. They all stared out to the sunset well hugging each other.

Dear Ma,

Thanks for the slice of Bread. I nibbled on it the full way. I cried for one last hug, Woman and children Crowded me as I boarded the steam train, all of the people made me jealous and worried that I would never see you ever again. Once we were all on the train I cried as you walked away.

After a while, I stopped crying as everybody had fallen asleep But Eventually, We made it to our Destination It was a small town in south Ayrshire called Troon, The trees are green and the houses are nice.

That night, I was taken to a hall where Lots of Woman and their husbands would pick children to take home for a while or even our whole lives. After a while I was picked and taken home by an old woman named Helan but she tells me to call her Miss Smith.

Anyways, She was nice enough but she made me do a lot of jobs like Cleaning The gutters and the chimney of if I am lucky emptying the toilet. In the Morning, I was getting ready for school And I had to be dressed in a Long skirt and a top. During school, I played hopscotch with a girl called Zoe, Once school was over, I came home in a carriage with Zoe and a boy from a woodwork class that we watched.

I have a little room across from the study where I sleep it has a rusty metal bed and a lamp with no light. I only eat when miss smith eats witch is almost never.

I normally sit in silence eating my tea wishing you were there, I pray for you and pap every day and night hoping I will come home soon to see you soon. Miss Smith is nice though so I am sure I can manage. Every morning we get up extra early to make  me a sandwich to bring to school it normally has cheese of ham but it is quite tasty.

I hope you and pa are doing well. Please write back, See you soon xxx

From your loving daughter – Luisa.

My Trust Peom

My trust is made from-

The unfolding secrets of my life,

Locked away like cautious criminals,

Behind bars.

I found it in in my family tree,

They used trust way before me,

unleash the joy,

Some people say,

the apple does not fall far from

the tree by the way.

The trust can destroy love,

But sometimes it comes from above,

the angles protect while the devils

reject, words slip out of your mouth

as cold as the side of south.

If I Lose this trust,

I might go bust.

Vampflier chapter 1

Chapter 1

My name is Olivia but most people call me liv. I am a 24 year old news reporter at BBC studios, I record script and talk. Someone once told me I would be famous but I don’t believe them. I’m a bit bossy and talk a lot, I have lots of friends that stay in our small room with two metal bunk beds and a fire to keep us warm at night. A girl taped on my door at the top of the small staircase.

She says “Oi, let me in”  I open my door slowly then I stare at her not knowing what to do. It is late and I am going out for a night time weather report and the BBC studios is closed for visitors. I open the door a bit more and she slips in to my dorm. She stares at me with blue eyes and a pale face. she sits down on the pillow of my bunkbed. And repeats the same words again “hide me quickly!”

Before I continue with what happens next, there is one story about our street that I should probably tell you about. It happened so long ago that no one remembers any information about this exact story. People believe that a monster comes out in the morning and haunts the beaches while people are having a morning dip in our seas, the beast is also thought to fly thought the wind in the afternoon breeze and leave a trail of a footsteps in the air with its fish like tail.

Apparently, it has a name it is thought it was the vamp flier but this story was too long ago to believe the old legends.it is believed that it smells of rotten fish and dirty socks, they say that its horns are venomous and can kill.it makes a small hissing noise, when people hear this noise people would lock their doors and shut there curtains. People even dress up in bee suits and put fences up all around the seaside. there was even a legend that a child was wandering down the beach and never came back.

“why do you need to hide” I hissed back at her with a squeaky voice.

“I’ve seen it ” she says, Draw the curtains quickly it is coming.

Sunny Street

Vampflier

You’ve probably been to Sunny Street. Where in the summer you can relax whilst eating ice-cream right beside the seaside and take a dip in to the beautiful pools. You can even take a small trip to the one and only BBC studios where you will meet all of the stars themselves, wouldn’t it be a dream to work there in summer. You  get swimming lessons from professionals and get a tan on the roasting sand.

But in winter, you have probably lost your tan and your money spending it all on hats scarves and gloves for the children and wasted your time scraping all the frost of your car and watching all the slush fall from the roof of your house. You should try and visit when the sand is hard, the sky is grey and the roads are empty for miles and when the ice-cream truck is parked outside the hotels.
