Ruby was shocked and surprised ,that there was an actual dragon in front of her eyes ,not only that but the dragon actually spoke too. “I better pinch myself again, to make sure this is not a dream” said Ruby. She pinched and looked again and realised that she was defently not dreaming. The dragon sat down next to her ,with a frown on his face and asks “If I help you down ,can you help get the thorn out of my claw?” He held his claw out and showed Ruby the thorn. There was lots of blood dripping down from it and he was in  great pain. Ruby could see that the dragon was friendly and she said “yes of course I can” The Dragon helped Ruby down. She warned him that it might hurt, then counted to three and pulled the thorn out of his claw! The dragon thanked Ruby for helping him.
“Stay here I will be back soon ” the dragon said. So Ruby did, wondering what he was doing? Suddenly she heard a loud BANG CRASH BANG BANG!!!!!!!!!! it made Ruby jump she was frightend. What is going on? “where is dragon? is something wrong” she said.  After Some time the dragon came back and smiled saying “you can come out now, come and see what I have done”. Ruby was still shacking but when dragon told her not to worry ,She held his hand and they both went outside.

Wow!! right in front of them was the Skyship looking amazing. Dragon said “I have fixed it “. Ruby was delighted and thanked the dragon. Then she asked him what his name was? The dragon replied saying that he didn’t know how to say it in human langaue. “I know, can I call you  big friendly dragon? ” Yes I like that” said the Big Friendly Dragon.
Ruby hoped into the Sky ship and said “I have to go now I will miss you”. The Big friendly dragon was sad to see her go but said “I will miss you too Ruby, will you come back and visit me to keep me company?” “of course I can, I will come back soon” The big friendly dragon gave Ruby a map so that whenever she wants to go and see him, she can follow the map.

Ruby, who was upside down, had hair so long that it very nearly touched the ground. For a moment Ruby thought that she was dreaming, so she pinched herself to check but no she wasn’t dreaming. Suddenly She heard a extremely loud “ROAR” she felt scared but was brave at the same time so she said “who’s there?” A deep voice answered “Me I’m here”  Ruby said ” who are you, I can’t see you, come into the light” So the dragon did. Ruby’s eyes and mouth came wide open and just before she screamed the dragon stopped her saying “yes I know you are looking at a giant talking dragon”. The dragon had green and purple scales and had eyes as red as a fire being lighted at midnight. His tail was very long as long as a mouse’s tail but way bigger!!!
