  Nevermoor 

 

 Prologue

 

In the sunlight, this would make a romantic , peaceful scene, but in the darkness the vines made a scary, shady location. The fountain made a continuous drip-drip in the background, which made  Morrigan even more unsettled. The lasting peace made Morrigan want to fall into a deep sleep,but she kept her eyes open waiting for something to appear, out of the darkness. Morrigan felt something eerie about this place but hadn’t figured out what it was. Nevermoor courtyard was not the place you’d go for an evening meal.

 

The mangomander

If you ever come across a mangomader don’t be scared they might look scary on the outside but they are friendly on the inside, They can taste fear so be aware .

 

These extraordinary creatures sort of look like otters  but with ears all fluffy like a koalas.Their natural colours are green and orange but when they are born they are white and as they grow, they get the colour.

 

You might think that these creatures live in tropical rainforests but the majority of them live in cold places like greenland so they have to harvest mangos because they rarely get them.

 

Many people believe that the mangomanders only eat mangos but this isn’t true, these magnificent creatures love all different varieties of fruit.

 

These creatures are under huge threat because of climate change so there are only 12 left help these innocent creatures live their lives.

Chapter 2

Tom and willow looked out of the window. Suddenly, they felt Bluebell wobble. All of a sudden she dived straight down. Their hearts pumped with fear. They felt sick the room started to shake. They could see a dragon shooting the back of the sky ship. They had crashed!  The ship had landed upside down so they had to crawl out of the bottom of the ship. They felt very dizzy.

Willow shouted out loud “dragon!”  Its scales were as black as the midnight sky. Beside the crashed sky ship there was another dragon but it was red.  Willow and Tom could see a tent so they scrambled into it.  Dragons were outside!  “That was close”, they whispered.

Food to eat with a lunch box that follows your instructions.

 

Water to drink with a magic water bottle.

 

A pillow and blankets in case it turns night.

 

Sleeping bags give you lots of energy.

 

Clothes and shoes so u can walk around and explore.

 

Map so you don’t get lost and forget where you are or where you are going.

 

Sword to fight any monster animals that may attack.

 

First aid kit in case you get hurt.

 

Armour to protect yourself from the bad.

 

Compass so I know where I am or where I’m going.

 

Umbrella to stop the rain.

The Mean Dragon

The Mean Dragon

 

The skin is as bumpy as a rocky road.

 

The spiky sharp teeth that sparkles in the bright sun.

 

The dragons rosy red tongue which was as long as a snake.

 

The scales were as rough as a rock.

 

The dragon had massive spikey wings.

 

The bright red eyes were like lasers.

 

The sharp shiny claws were digging into the food.

You are like the shimmering sea waving over the sand.

You are the taste of fresh fish just been caught from the sea.

You are like the smell of rotten fish what the cat just ate.

All creatures great.

You are the silent snake slivering through the Jurassic jungle.

You are as fast as a cheetah but as small as an ant.

You are the morning sky waking everyone up as you shine so bright.

You are as soft as a sheep but as fisty as a tiger hunting for its prey.

You are as beautiful as a peacock, but you have a sting like a bee.

You are as graceful as a swan but as rugged as a rhino.

You are as good as running as a pheasant but as slow as a snail.

Chapter 1.

 

Ella was walking out of school gates with Pin, and Crackle trailing behind him, running out of energy.

“ ‘ey Ella , Crackle panted. “Running out of life ‘ere.” 

“ Alright ,alright come on over here then!” Ella reached out to wind Crackle back up,6 turns would do it.

Once Crackle was all winded up again, they set off on their way back home. Suddenly ,they heard a noise.

They stopped to listen to the retching sound. Two men dressed in black all over , got out of the car.

They stopped to listen to the retching sound. Two men dressed in black all over , got out of the car.

Ella snatched up Crackle. The men launched themselves at the kids grabbing them by the collar and pulling them into the limo…

Winter and the Phoenix

 

Chapter one

Winter is a young girl, with brown hair, who lives in a house with her mother and father. They live in a world like no other, where everyone has secret powers that are just wating to appear when they are needed. Winter’s secret power has just been revealed to her, she has the power to control water.

Whilst playing in the garden with her pet dog Winter was attacked by the Phoenix.

The Phoenix is a bird, a red bird, with a bald head and a yellow beak. The Phoenix is both cruel and kind, it can heal with its tears, and attack with its beak.

Thanks to the earth benders Phoenixes are nearly extinct!
