The Candy Rose & The Sapphire Willow

The Candy Rose

Poem by Holly

Roots as soft as cotton candy clouds

sprinting through the sky.

A stem standing like a chewy lollipop

that is about to be devoured by a hungry

child.

Leaves made out of delectable chocolates

that taste like mythical treats given to the

Royal.

The Candy rose looks like a blossomed flower,

sitting underneath the sunset waiting for

the next day to come.

Pollen slowly walking across the sage

green grass.

The Sapphire Willow

Poem by Holly

Optimistic, mythical roots that dance in

the nighttime when the moon calls

their name.

A trunk as rough as a silver elephants

skin.

Branches as sapphire as the glistening

ocean sea where creatures you have

never seen before live.

Twigs drooping down the tree looking

as sad as a robber that couldn’t

complete his crime.

Leaves sea blue dancing in the wind

to the bird’s graceful tune.

‘In the land of Neverbelieve’

‘In the land of Neverbelieve, ’

In the land of Neverbelieve, I sang softly to the sky which was as blue as sapphire, hoping I would get a reply.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I touched the glowing orange fireflies gliding towards their destroyed home.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I watched an eagle gracefully glide through the cerulean sky trying it’s hardest to find it’s fearful prey.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I touched the cotton candy clouds as soft as a teddy bear.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I discovered a mythic-mysterious golden dragon trying to discover where his children are, which were lost in the dark, mysterious woods.

In the land of Neverbelieve, I saw a mythical ancient creature, one which represents fire, it looked like a flaming fire destroying buildings angrily.
