an elf dressed like a football player wearing a woolly hat,
a coconut falling from the tree landing on a bed of sand,
a kangaroo getting ready to pounce at an octopus,
an apple tree with one single leaf on it.
In the mirror I heard
a bang coming the shed I went to go look what it was there was a football with jelly on the top.
a telephone ringing as loud as an electric guitar.
In the mirror I imagined
a roast dinner with a unique violin sitting in the background,
a zebra running as fast as a spitfire towards the poppy field,
a turquoise frost dragon with a witch doing a spell next to him.

Inside the mirror I saw
a pack of wolves whispering in the wind and howling in the moonlight,
a monstrous man-eating shadow dragon circling his prey,
a fluffy white cat sitting on a fence at the dead of night,
the first sunrise and the last sunset.

the spirit of a jester sniggering to himself secretively,
the bark of a puppy wanting to play fetch,
a meowing kitten wanting food,
a bawl of a baby wanting her mother.
Inside the mirror I felt
a magical wand levitating me high into the midnight sky,
the glistening water running against my feet,
the crisp winter day and warm summer night,
the cosy warm bed keeping me safe and sound.

galloping horses roaming over the hills in a parade of darkness,
birds soaring across the sky alone in the moonlight,
Christmas Eve the sleepy children creeping down the stairs on the crack of dawn.
In the mirror I imagined
a frost dragon with bitter cold breath as cold as ice,
a golden unicorn walking in the shadows.
Inside the mirror is heard
the bawl of babys,
the sound of parents sleeping,
the horses first groan, the soldiers last sigh,
the sound of the school chime and the chatter of children,
the sound of chaotic town and deep of night.
