Evacuee Letter

Dear Ma,

Thank you for packing my teddy bear, all my friends love it. Speaking of friends, I have so many! But my best friend is definitely Martha. I met her on the train: we were on the same carriage.I turned out we had the same book but she was quite far ahead of me so I told her not to spoil anything.

I assume you want to know where I’m staying and who I’m with. Well they’re called Mr and Mrs Oakley. Mr Oakley didn’t get signed up for the war like dad because he is forty-one(although he doesn’t look it.) They are very nice and they live on a farm. Sometimes Mr Oakley lets me shave the fluffy, white things and they are very cute.

When I got here I didn’t really know what to expect because it didn’t look very pleasing but it turns out it is amazing(although I still love home.)Every Saturday Mrs Oakley takes me to Little Weirold which is the main town in Scotland and buys me some clothes and sweets.

Scotland is so different to London and I’m having an amazing time, please don’t worry about me.

My Fear

My fear is made from-

the shell of an egg,

the silence of a pin drop,

the text on a newspaper,

the shin of a leg.

I found it-

trapped in the muscles of my legs,

captured in a devils dungeon underground,

hiding in my dreams at night.

This fear can-

break a heart,

climb mountains higher than the skies,

it can mend a friendship broken for years.

If I lost this fear-

even the sad cat at the side of the road

would beam with joy.

The Seasons

A sun is

As bright as a lit match,

Like a ring of fire

In summer.

A cloud is

As white as a snowflake

Like frozen lightning

In winter.

A leaf is

As brown as a bear

Like a squirrel jumping from branch to branch

In autumn.

A lamb is

As small as a raindrop

Like a daffodil blossoming

In spring.

Mr Honey

As soon as happy-faced Mr Honey skipped into class seven, the familiar room immediately appeared to turn joyful. He had a cheery, beaming face rather like a smiley-faced emoji.

“Settle down children,” exclaimed Mr Honey in a jolly way, “I am very pleased to be here!”

a trip acros the sea

        prologue

In spring  you’ve probably been on a sky ship adventure with your family . not too close not too far away over the hills and through the clouds and too silent cities for the day

It  would have been cold up in the sky some days it would be warm others cold but you were little you would have so I think you should come and give it a gow but there are some down sides of coming to have a  gow such as sky goblins attack , cave —- dragons ,  stone —-  giants  frost —–trolls .

Chapter 1

The crowd gazed up as the sky ship Egel sorer

advise

Beware of the arrows  that , can kill you ,at the toxic speed down the hill

If you see a coin on the floor a coin on the floor don’t pick it up just run and explore some more

Your enemy might be there so keep an eye out just incase

Always  the giants  in case they might just eat you

Always  carry a invisible hat in case you need it.

the rainbow masks

I wore the blue mask and saw,

A Blue Whale Lunging up from the ocean,

A blue butterfly flying over the sea and

And some grapes on a leaf.

I wore the yellow mask and saw,

A duckling crossing the road,

Someone eating a banana and

Cheese on a table.

I wore the green mask and saw,

Grass being blown by the rushing wind,

Frog jumping over a pond and

A Bright mint emerald shining in the cave.

I wore the red mask and saw,

Someone eating chilli in the park,

Fire from jet engines and

A Field of bright red poppies.

I wore the brown mask and saw,

A bear eating honey from a tree,

Squirrels storing acorns in their home and

Wood Bark Peeling off the tree.

I wore the pink mask and saw,

A Flamingo herd drinking water,

Children eating cotton candy and

A man giving tulips to a woman.

The magnificent shell by Isabel @ Belmont

Long, long time ago there was a poor girl called Polly who lived next to the beach. She had a strange little cottage with a rusty bike but she was happy. Early one morning, Polly went for a walk to collect shells. She collected flat shells, curved shells and thin shells. Suddenly, Polly found the most beautiful shell lying next to the rock pool! Slowly Polly bent down to pick up the shell, which was glistening in the sun. To her amazement, the shell spoke. “I will grant you two wishes so choose wisely!” said the magnificent shell.
