The poem

Inside the mirror, I saw –

A violin playing a peaceful tune ,

A shiny golden sun looking over the world ,

A vicious fox chasing after it’s next pray,

Millions of seashells rolling around the gritty sand,

A seagull flapping it’s wing upon bracelet bay ,

An abandoned train station on the Broadway.

Inside the mirror, I heard –

The water splashing against the rocky hill ,

A Robyn chirping it’s favourite song ,

A vicious snake hissing around the weedy grass ,

The breeze whizzing through the city’s icy arms ,

The fire crackling in the fireplace ,

The first thud of the door slamming

Inside the mirror , I imagined-

A dragon breathing out it’s first hint of fire ,

The elves twittering in Santa’s ear ,

The BFG making its first ever dream ,

The last roar from the lion’ s disgusting mouth.
