The nightcrawlers were sprinting to the ship. Meanwhile, the crew were preparing the backup power and fuel for the engines whilst arming the robotic cannons. The creatures were coming at a pace; they were spotted by Giree from the crows nest. They were ready for battle. BANG! A tree was sent down to the floor from the weight of several nightcrawlers on it, the   weather had changed drastically it was dark and thundering the deadly-dwellers could be peering behind you in  a flash of thunder they were closer than before after that darkness and THUD BANG lightning and thunder bolted down like rain it was as if it was broad daylight like the creatures were clambering over the great enormous wall now they had spotted us from the great height and they were only fifty metres away …

Alley thought to herself over the deafening noise of the captain merely attempting to shout over the noise of lightning and thunder “ crew prepare to battle”, they were hissing like a cobra as if it was a war call. Moments later there were hordes of them were surrounding the ship (there were thousands of them but that was only in the space of about two acres) the nightcrawlers were sneaking into small pipes of the ship like the engine and the pipes leading to the air vents where the fan was kept. 

Alley went down to the basement for the ammunition for the automated cannons whilst the crew were arming the cannons. A screech came from above followed by a shout “the cannons have failed”. A panic struck in my heart. The cannons had failed; they were going to attack , they were doomed…

Aley was scared and hid in a cupboard in the basement as bloodshot screams came from above on the deck a clutter of noise came from the vent she couldn’t see it was dark and the basement door was shut lights were off the eerie noise of footsteps were outside the cupboard a dark silhouette stood with red luminous eyes waiting to pounce Aley was holding her breath.Suddenly, a noise a slashing noise -like claws- scraping down on the cupboard doors Alley was terrified she froze still as the door creeped open to only see the gaze of light peering down on the nightcrawler ; it had saliva oozing down from its mouth and red light reflectant eyes it stood on all fours with its mouth open hissing and smelling the air it stood on her and an item glowing fearfully like a volcano and was pulsing like Alleys heartbeat she instantly knew what to do she held it up and a powerful light emitted out of it like a beacon shining the evil beast had melted into a pile of mushy goo a thud came from above and a scream of disbelief Alley had saved the day she was amazed.

After a week of cleaning , the crew had finally repaired the ship cleaned the guts and limbs from the deck and engine also fixed the engine Alley , who was standing next to the ship and had saved the day, the proud phoenix stood tall among the crew in front of the ship but they still needed to set off with the gem and the crew. Quickly the crew boarded the ship and set off for the long journey home. JJ was reading “what you reading JJ said Aley “nothing much just a national geography booklet” replied JJ  “it had the information about the spirit stone which combined with the fire stone created the amulet of power. As they were setting off into the pink coloured sky Alley said” captain lets find that stone !” The crew cheered as they flew away in the skyship getting smaller and smaller descending into the clouds.

Chapter 3

Aley woke with a startle, her head jerked to the right of her quarters to where the speaker stood Most days , she wish she had the authority to disarm it at will. None the less The captain was calling her to the deck. The captain requested and slowly paced towards him the captain -who is alfie- addressed her with the orders. Aley was required to obtain dry wood for the fading gloomy fire …
She set off and scouted the perimeter, she was happy to be alone as the crew had been too scared about the creature . crunchy Deep Green ground, Anxiously she thought about the crash. Could some of the crew still be alive? The wood was as rough as an elephant’s skin but still no luck it was all wet and damp. Thinking about the skyship she stumbled to the ground and looked up feeling dizzy. She saw a stack of logs the looked like they were made by a human…

After An hour of searching she couldn’t find a soul in this maze of overgrowth. Something round the corner seemed to be talking to her like a voice in her head. She peeked round only to see a one of a kind NIGHTCRAWLER … she set a scream that could be heard from miles away. She was frozen and she couldnt move a muscle. The nightcrawler proclaimed i am not a a night crawler its me alby the lost explorer he took his clever disguise off from his head and revealed the old wrinkly man it was alby the great no legendary lost explorer. He explained he had been here surviving from bugs and animals whilst doing so he slipped a rock into alleys pocket. It was the mighty phoenix gem they had to get back to the ship as they had awoken the dragons and night crawlers from there slumber.

Meanwhile the crew were gathering at the ship. Aley and alby were at the ship screaming “turn on the engines turn them on!” A squad of dragons rained down onto the ship the ballon won’t inflate. They were surrounded by nightcrawlers and dragons…

Over the several days , the sun finally shone ; its bright blinding light was everywhere to be seen . there was a cluster of islands that grouped together. The phoenix sailed softly to the wild island.  A great colossal wall guarded the island, it was overgrown and had ancient mayan temples standing tall  and bold made from stone and various paints.

As the phoenix was airborne, the crew had detected a catastrophic sight. A skyship had landed with a thud , it was a shipwreck.” Well its obvious they dont have as good as a captain as us”. Said Jamie reluctantly, Alby, who was the captain blushed on a docking bay about 17 km away, appeared to be The Alpha the Crew they were after.

 An hour later, they had reached their destination The crew felt anxious about the crashed ship as a thick blanket of fog layed above the trees. The loud bangs of the engine shutting down , the noise made them think about the ship that had cracked.THUD! The skyship landed with a drop.

As the sea brought up a terotious wave it covered them chest high with water the aroma of salt glimmered in the air, the marooned and desolate island stood. The great skyship had been decaying and was rusted.

The wreckage was standing and it appeared it wouldn’t it cave in on them Jamie ran to the captains office the captains office the captain was grasping hold of the map to the gem “th the map its HERE” shouted Jamie.

The abandoned ship was ghosted and it was now sundown they had taken supplies like fule and food and now created their camp everyone was asleep but jamie and JJ wouldn’t sleep a wink there was a shadow lurking a misty unclear foggy shaddow with illuminous red eyes shimmering among the fire light an image formed drastically in there mind int to a reality.

The assembly of people stared blankly with excitement at the enchanted skyship, the phoenix as it left the docking bay.It trailed with a honeysuckle aroma that drew the bodies of people towards the charmed ship as it was departing,  the engines roared  on with a powerful thrust the Captain (Alby Black)  standing guard of the ships wheel grinning as the ship was elevating to the sky.

Jaimie and Zegard were aghast at the extraordinary sight of the decreasing size of the hordes of people cheering. The engines bolted to life even though the noise of cheering had stopped it was still ringing in their ears but now all the crew could see was the thick white fluffy feeling of the clouds against their skin. The Captain ( Alby) had never felt so joyous to be going on an adventure as his stomach fluttered. The patches of yellow fields and the green forests all hung together like a knitted blanket. 

The squad of adventurers felt the cool breeze ringing in their ears ,as the mighty phoenix sailed along the sea of clouds .

Within an hour, the mighty Phoenix was soaring above the mighty sapphire crystal clear great oceana south. In the sea was remote and desolate islands overthrown with wildlife the seas were marooned (not one person in sight) it was like a ghost town. Meanwhile, Zegard was lying looking up at the prancing and dancing clouds formatting into somewhat of a shape like an elephant.

Jamie gripped his elegant mousy brown hair and said to himself mumbling ,“will there be anything unforeseeable or jurastick going to happen like last time?” Because last time a quest like this was embarked upon, the consequences were losing Bucky a crew member.

That night, the weather took a turn for the dark. It struck into  treacherous storms, icy fog and tall waves reaching up to the skyship where the balloon was battered. The storm eased after several hours or so but the ship was hovering over the moonlit sea.

But this was just the beginning to our journey…

Dear captain Culpepper, 

I am writing to you today to apply for the application of the crewmember on the skyship aurora.

I hope my persuasive letter will notify you of my major skills and talents will notify you of my major skills and talents and that you have a vacancy for a young, skilled, strong leader such as myself on your exquisite skyship. I shall give it my life’s work to defend and protect your enchanted ship.

Firstly, i would like to display my main excellence such as my such as my leadership skills ;  piloting skills ;Engineering, I’m thinking skills, All of which I’ve mastered in the sss (Specially skilled School). Furthermore I am, very capable of Performing even the hardest of hard tasks. 

I’m exceptionally good at engineering and mechanical skills , which could help if the engine shut down (breaks). I can help in these situations by fixing the engine or improvising and creating an alternative option 

Furthermore, I would like to state my navigation skills which will exponentially improve the ship, rather than a modern day GPS (which cost money to charge and buy) and require a Live power source. Even in the most intense locations and situations, I can locate anywhere at any time with a simple map
